I put my seeds right in a root riot and since using them I'm 100%. Makes it easy to peek in and see if anything is happening too. Usually up in 4 days.

Thats what I use to do....and it worked great. I ran out of cubes, and was being cheap...and tried it without them. I've had great success so far...only lost one seed, out of about 25 I've done this way. You just have to keep them moist..

I'm planning on trying the instas like trail is doing for my outdoor autos, looking forward to that and will not be using the root riots.

Cups with slot cut in them, then when they're ready you just plant the cup and the roots grow out of it. New to me too.
