So after doing ALLOT of brainstorming, the simplest idea will probably work the best! I made this diagram in paint. Not the best, but you get the idea! I will be making it this weekend & ill post the results

to do this you need to have two different size containers because you dont want to fill a huge layer of carbon as it will not pull air through it. i used pencil holders from staples but this didnt work that well. i would love to see this in action though.
Nice diagrams durpoi! I hope this works out for you, looks like it should. I haven't yet had the need to use a filter yet, let alone build a DIY'er, so I can't offer an educated opinion.

Yeah i was thinking the same tshirt! i remember seeing a post weeks ago about using thin steel wire and shaping it in your "carbon container" witch promotes better airflow! ill see if i can find it
thats a good idea with the pencil holder! pity it didnt work the best for you man

what was your smell like just before harvest with no filter? ill try not to! haha
She smelled sweet and fruity the last few weeks before harvest. Only when I touched her, did she give off her "Weedy" smell. I had my ONA Gel slightly opened outside the cab in the room, just in case. I just got lucky though and had a "non-smelly ER pheno". The next ones will probably stink big time.
