Anyone ever use red lava rock at the bottom of their pots? Unless I'm ordering online, I have very limited choices of anything that has to do with growing. I need cal-mag like yesterday and iv looked everywhere within 45 min radius of me, nothing so online it is I guess for that. Hope it won't be to late..Anyways First grow about halfway done so going to start the next set of Autos. Gelato and super silver haze. The pot I'm using from start to finish is in the pic. Going to put the red lava rock at bottom then the pro mix. Opinions on the lava rock and medium choice please.
Thanks!

Rocks don't help with drainage, its been tested.
This is true, it actually accomplishes the opposite of the intention. The layer of soil touching the rocks can dry out too fast and then become hydrophobic and create dry pockets where the soil does not saturated properly and drains unevenly.
