you could do that fine but youll get a bit better airflow pulling through the carbon filter instead of pushing, so CF>fan>exhaust.

Sorry, late to thread...
I pull air through a 4x12 Phresh fliter with a 4" Sunleaves Wind Tunnel fan (both rated at 200 CFM). The Phresh filters are great and the Sunleaves is made of plastic and very quiet and reliable.
I'm not a fan of putting the fan inside the tent. Mine sits on top of the tent sucking air out of the tent and pushing it into the attic.

My main issue is stealth,i'v just been trawling for quiet,high CFM fans & low CFM filters .The- db-a(noise) needs to be low as it's a stealthcab & next to my bed !.Im not sure but with a 30 cubic feet box would i need to move upto 200CFM ?.After looking around though,the lowest filter seems to be 170CFM i think?.I could be way off tough ?.

,i was thinking pc fan/fans ?.... 2x 80CFM = 160CFM - put them inline & wired together with a speed controller,very close to the filter(maybe no ducting)?.
Any comments,surgestions,advice would be a big help..... please say if im talking kaka here.
Brings me back to previous question about the filter being outside the box with the fans pushing( A big thanks to bgrt & muddy).I have a void next to the box to vent into, it's airthight apart from a passive intake from outside.It's also pretty sound proof & houses the airpump for the 2 resie's.....but ....it's at ground level & about 18" high .I would like to exhaust into here as well if it's not a bad idea ?.I know people say vent out the top of a tent/box ect but it would be cool to put the filter & fans in there as well,or maybe not?,im not sure !. If not i may need to re-think the vent location & put the intake there?.
Again any comments ,ect ect to help me build my DWC/LED/AUTOFEM stealthcab,with soundproof side chamber for pump & filter!!!! would be greatfully recived .

Hey I got an air conditioner question. Do you just let the air conditioner cool the room air and crank back the room air exit fan? Maybe it is preferred to cool the fresh incoming air and leave the exhaust fan crank away. I'm a total nube when it comes to air conditioners so wade in guys. I know you can't pump in air that is 95 degrees from the outside and get any cooling in your grow room. Does anyone use a heat pump for cooling?
