Hi Guys,

Just to chime in....@MedGrower @Rebel

Optimal pH for soil and soil-less (coco) is 6.3. As for bennies, we currently use Zyme by Green Planet. We like how it comes in pill form so that the shelf life is a little longer once you open the container. We're actively looking to add a benny product down the road, the issue comes with importing and exporting live cultured products. The border people don't like it....

Adding Nature's Candy will help with the bennies but if you're not specifically adding them, benefits may vary with the addition of NC....nothing bad though.

Hope that helps,

Joel

@RemoNutrients How did you conclude optimal ph for soil, soilless and coco is 6.3? And what are bennies?

@Rebel About hours and stretch I can't get repeatable results 24/ 20/4 cooler temps at lights out, etc I have been playing with the dimmer on my tasty but no real evidence of variation over the plants under another light.... My tap water 7.2ph in soilless develops def. My Caught rainwater does not, rain water here is @ ph of 5.7 it grows everything well in soil, soilless, coco perlite go figure. Are you running myco madness do you add it at the beginning? is that the Bennies?

Are these sold in canada remo.

Hab.

Thank you very much Hab! I appreciate your kind words on my SD! They have changed a lot since those pics. Taller and bushier.

I really really dig this little Roleadro 600W 5W panel! Its rocking these 4... I may pick up another one soon and put it in that tent in the back left.

I tell you what its hanging pretty well with this Kind K5 XL1000! I mean they got more stretch with the Roleadro than the Kind but same 6 hrs darkness...

So is that theory on "darkness causes your plants to stretch for the light that isn't there" bullshit? :pass: How do you explain that? Same two strains two different lights... Idk... Thoughts?

Why I was under impression that plants actually can use some forms of carbohydrates themselfs through the root uptake? If not, there is atleast the added benefit of amino acids. I love this stuff man, I really do. Kelp, carbs and amino acids in the mix you cannot go wrong. :cool1:

@RemoNutrients anytime you guys are going to make a new product aimed for, say recovering a schocked plant, you should name it RemoTherapy. :haha:

Rebel what day did you start to feed on? And are you following the schedule and feeding daily?

@RemoNutrients can you explain to me the reason for feed, feed, water? As opposed to feeding every time (as I do in soil less)... What brought you to the conclusion this is best? Thanks in advance!
im curious abt this too, my guess is to prevent salt buildup

Here's a shot of the 5x5 after feeding this evening... They are getting so big...

The SD are getting that skunk kiefy smell. The WCOGs have a strawberry/berry smell and very frosty... The Critical + smell like Lemons... I'm a happy mofo.. :coffee:

How much Remo does your WCOG tolerate? I can see some yellow tips.
I am testing @BiG Plant Science nutes compared to Advanced. My FB WCOGs are satisfied with 1.5 ml/l while FB Creen Crack eats 5 ml/l without a single yellow tip. I even did a mistake, while mixing 2 and 1 l water, feeding a plant 10 ml/l in stead of 5. She did not react with visible symptoms.

Another question - what are the N sources in Remo?

6.3 in coco is interesting. It is the same pH recommended by Ryan Riley in Growing Elite Mariuana, a book I am memorizing.
I tried coco at 5.7. All seedlings died.
Proly me who kept the coco too wet. I will try again next year. For now, old fashioned, God given mud for growing plants. ;)

Rebel what day did you start to feed on? And are you following the schedule and feeding daily?

I switched nutes mid grow but if you mean when I start from sow I will feed from day 1. Yes I am following the schedule and i feed when they dry up. About every other day - 3 days...

I just started feed feed water. But yes I am feeding by their dosing..

I was using GH Maxi line and it had very very high NPK so that's why the burnt tips.. I switched to remo mid grow. So the official start from finish hasn't happened yet. They are getting 8ml per gallon.

I don't know their NPK numbers... Not off the top of my head... Here's their website..

8 ml/gal is roughly 2 ml/l. The same as my plants tolerate.
I will follow Remo grows closely and see what I can pick up of data from you guys. As you know, I have some data on Advanced Nutrients and Big Plant Sci.

To this end, they only differ on their effect on seedlings, where Big has amino acids with auxin activity that results in rapid expansion of the plants circumference.
Later today, I will post some new diagrams in my own News Journal.
