Real Science vs Bro Science: Ohhh some of you are NOT going to like this!

It's interesting the whole fermentation deal but I want my plant even if it was cheaper ect the plant for me growing it is amazing and I wouldn't trade that for nothing lol but it's still worth investigating it ect again things like that very much interest me

Cannabis, and many other plants get the majority of their nutrients from the top 4 inches of soil. The mcrolife will migrate down into the soil and the nutrients will leach in also. I grew an Auto Ultimate in a 20 gallon SIP, in organic soil. I topped dressed twice. I scrogged the plant and pulled 312 grams dry from her. And nothing says you can water a SIP from the top occassionally. Stop the bottom feed for a couple days, dress and water from the top. Resume bottom water in 2-3 days.

Cannabis root structure, even in a pot, there will be more roots in the top layer, even when root bound!

For me, the question is How long does it take for the compost/top dress to break down and worms have their way? We aren't growing trees or perennials. If your growing autos your on a short clock. In my case, I'm currently growing in sips w/cover so the top dress isn't really getting watered in. Besides, you know stoners aren't happy unless they're messing with something.

Sorta kinda explains to my fuzzy brain why "they" all recommend min. 15 gal pots as there will be more nutrients available to the roots with more surface area
