Real Science vs Bro Science: Ohhh some of you are NOT going to like this!

@derek420colorado Maybe you have said this but do your LAGs come equipped with technology to measure DLI and allow the lights to compensate throughout the day for the DLI the sun isn't providing?

Using high bay lights run by a sensor would save money on photos or autos. Also I've heard about commercial growers having issues with autopots, is there an alternative system for the LAGs?

It also takes a month to culture, then hardening off/vegging but the space used is significantly less and I concur with @pop22 you would have to someone with a degree doing the cultures. I think it's more practical for medical needs where you might want to avoid disease and pathogens like the Tobacco mosaic virus. Recreational should go with localized artisanal cannabis that can be tagged like product of Saint Louis, MO or Humboldt county.
I will be offering a few different models. Kind of like cars. I will have The base model which will include everything in a manual format. IE if it’s cloudy you will have to turn the lights on. Then the next step up is going to be automated light In system(basically a blackout system but I am using it to keep light in) which is the blackout plastic I have now but on clutched roller shade tubes and most likely a blackout fabric vs panda or orca. Then the deluxe model will have all sensor everything. I will have the lights on a photosensor. The cO2 will be all automated. And the light in system will be on automatic roller shade tubes connected to a photosensor.

so to answer your question yes I will be offering a model that is basically totally hands free.
As for the autopots. I will have to look into the problems you speak of for commercial folks. Do you know specifically what the issues were/are? But also to answer your question yes, I have also looked into the blumat systems which seem to be a lot more adaptable and don’t take up the space the autopots do. They are also much more affordable.

I plan on selling the base model starring around 10-11k depending on what auto watering system I use.

another thing about autopots and traditional “commercial” growers is if I had to guess theyare tryin to run like 100 plants at one time off one res or somethin and with the LAG600 it’s only 24 plants. It can be scaled up but modularly, meaning if you wanted to run 100 plants you would just run 4 LAG’s or one big space separated kind of into 24 plant “plots”

Sweet. That sounds really good.

I've heard of clogging and inadequate irrigation mostly. Me personally I'd prefer a flood and drain since I can modify it to any media, get an idea of in/out EC+pH to make adjustments, and it cost significantly less than Autopots with all the benefits of sub irrigation.

Honestly I think I will have multiple options and you can create your own if you will from a custom list of upgrades or add ons. They are basically going to be so versatile I will have one for whatever type of medium you are used to. I even plan on marking a hydro one :)

Has anybody used these here lights? It’s https://gavita.com/retail/products/gavita-pro-line-led/gavita-pro-1700e-led-ml/?cmp=sid/Gavita/facebook/gavita1700e

Check out mars hydro newest lights. You’ll be surprised.
I’ve got some pretty specific requirements the reason I like these is cause thy my have the light “strips” and the space in between, I need the smallest lights possible so that it doesn’t block the sun during the day. Are the new mars’ setup like this ?

Like the Gavita above, the new Mars use single lines spread out to give killer PAR figures with a bigger footprint.
It's very interesting to see the progress in LED tech for growing veggies and canna.

Yep, they are. Very nice PAR figures with a very nice footprint.

That's the reason I've never looked into it. But I ASSume its the specific ba

I haven't bought or used chemical nutes since I was in Navy housing in Iroquois Point, Oahu, Hawaii. I HAD to use what they supplied. Stopped that crap when I bought a home in Ewa Beach!
When I first started organics at my farm, getting a REAL soil test was almost impossible to get. All I'd get is the NPK bs and their sillyass recommendations. I finally found one university that would do a proper soil analysis.
My farm's soil was in horrible organic condition when I bought it. I'll admit that I would have continued the damn chemical program if my water well hadn't been close to my garden spot.......and if I could have kept my GrandMa outta my dreams! LMMFAO! Yeah, she came to my dreams SEVERAL times after I bought my farm and scolded me for thinking about not using organics. GrandMa and I were pretty tight. I was about 40 miles away when she died, but I instantly knew the moment when she died.
I started an organic program about the most simple and very cost effective way by paddock rotation. Basically you rotate your animals between fenced off paddocks as the eat down the food, they "fertilize" it. Electric fencing made it pretty easy. It just took a bit of planning and a watchful eye. Since I was raising cattle, there was a bit of soil compaction, but was fixed with physical aeration. Great for Coastal Bermuda by cutting the rhizomes it causes two shoots to come up for each cut.
Aloha Bill you still live on O'ahu? I live on Lana'i I haven't gotten off island since March. I use advance nudes cause I am lazy as fudge and its ph balanced. Many of my plants have out grown my tent. I grow using a hydroponic system I built. I find it is the drying and curing process that affects the flavor of my buds more than the nutes do. My biggest issue is bud rot due to the high humidity and no air conditioning. So I prefer fiming and lst to get my plants to produce smaller but more plentiful buds and I pick prune a lot of the interior leaves so air can circulate through.

I run advanced nutrients and it’s the shit I have a $300 meter and everything is flawlessly I have no bad days no bad runs and everybody with the organizer waiting for shit to be ready and broke down I feel that they’re at a loss and synthetic so the way to go I don’t even care if you synthetics and dirt does PH61 is the magical number you can trust me or you cannot buy a blow it up I kill it every year I have no bad runs I’ve been grown for over 20 years photos bat A 1,000 I max run off 1200 ph 6.1
