I will be offering a few different models. Kind of like cars. I will have The base model which will include everything in a manual format. IE if it’s cloudy you will have to turn the lights on. Then the next step up is going to be automated light In system(basically a blackout system but I am using it to keep light in) which is the blackout plastic I have now but on clutched roller shade tubes and most likely a blackout fabric vs panda or orca. Then the deluxe model will have all sensor everything. I will have the lights on a photosensor. The cO2 will be all automated. And the light in system will be on automatic roller shade tubes connected to a photosensor.@derek420colorado Maybe you have said this but do your LAGs come equipped with technology to measure DLI and allow the lights to compensate throughout the day for the DLI the sun isn't providing?
Using high bay lights run by a sensor would save money on photos or autos. Also I've heard about commercial growers having issues with autopots, is there an alternative system for the LAGs?
It also takes a month to culture, then hardening off/vegging but the space used is significantly less and I concur with @pop22 you would have to someone with a degree doing the cultures. I think it's more practical for medical needs where you might want to avoid disease and pathogens like the Tobacco mosaic virus. Recreational should go with localized artisanal cannabis that can be tagged like product of Saint Louis, MO or Humboldt county.
so to answer your question yes I will be offering a model that is basically totally hands free.
As for the autopots. I will have to look into the problems you speak of for commercial folks. Do you know specifically what the issues were/are? But also to answer your question yes, I have also looked into the blumat systems which seem to be a lot more adaptable and don’t take up the space the autopots do. They are also much more affordable.
I plan on selling the base model starring around 10-11k depending on what auto watering system I use.
another thing about autopots and traditional “commercial” growers is if I had to guess theyare tryin to run like 100 plants at one time off one res or somethin and with the LAG600 it’s only 24 plants. It can be scaled up but modularly, meaning if you wanted to run 100 plants you would just run 4 LAG’s or one big space separated kind of into 24 plant “plots”
