I was interested to see how you've used those containers in the smart pots did you do that to help stop over watering when they were young? and then to have no transplant shock ? really grovvy Ill give that a try next time

Ok guys another update they look about 3 weeks from finishing on these 3 onxy autos. This is my first auto grow so you tell me if i did ok or not. To be honest i am not really happy with the small ones but i didn't run into any major trouble. No over watering, no under watering, no nute burn. So meh i guess it wasn't all bad.



I will start flushing these 3 today, and if i am correct they should be ready to chop in about 2 to 3 weeks max.

lyaboss- For your 1st indoor attempt, I'd say SPOT ON! Yes, we have high hopes (pun!) that our autos will be a yardstick, but in reality, the smoke will be good and you'll be satisfied doing a quick turn around. I have 4 regs and 10 AF's going on. Like the tallness of the normies (3 female, others reg....it too turned girly!), but love the quickness and uniquity (as in uniqueness!) of AF's!! The regs, 1-3 voutdoors, the others in/outdoors/greenhouse. Get an inexpensive jeweler's loupe to watch for the trichomes....clear they are not ready, translucent to milky....CHOP!! CHOP! Turning yellowish amber, CBD couch lock....kinda like just past it's ripeness fruit. Still yummy and edible, just not PER-fect-o! Yes, rain water, RO water....good to wash out any additives....then let soil dry out....Mmmmm! I can smell it from here!

Your first grow knocks spots of mine (+2nd and 3rd attempts) and many others that I have seen. Plus, now you are armed with fresh knowledge, experience and confidence.

If you still have a few weeks left they should improve some more.

Hey guys, thank you all to those who visited and currently follow my grow, This morning i put 2 HBD in the soil, I have 3 califlower doing great and the 1 MI5 out of 10! that broke the surface is EXPLODING, Wish i had more Mi5 to start because it seems like it is going to be a great female. I am going to have to cut 2 down after work. It is really ambering up. Tons of amber on 2 of them, then i will cut the taller one down in about a week. Will post pictures soon

Here is the ones i am going to do the "cookie cutter method on. you can see the difference in the soil from the middle to the outside.

Cookie Cutter Method
Ok so i just came up with that name when i was doing it. I currently use the Tier Method, but wanted to try something different so here is what i did. I filled my 3 gallon smart pot (2 of them) all the way to the top with my hot mix. Then i took a 20oz party cup with the bottom cut out and force it down the middle of the pot in a twisting motion. Once the cup was in the soil up toward the lid, i gently pulled it back out taking the middle of the soil out with it. Then i filled in the hole with Jiffy seedling soil. THis is where i will plant my seed. I want to see IF
1. this method is effective
2. if there will be a difference in yeild.

I will be posting pictures of this once i find my damn camera.

thanks newautofan. Well i cropped out all my ONXY, i will start a new grow log soon with updated pictures. I currently have 1 MI5, 2 Afgan kush ryders, 3 La Diva's, and 9 Blue Deisel going right now. I will change my signature to the new grow log. This was my first Auto grow and well i did good on the first time with Autos what i am finding is that i am not giving them enough Nutes. That is the reason why (i beilive) i was not getting them explosive bud sites.
