How soon is yellowing of cotyledon leaves acceptable? Is that a sign that seedlings should be fed?

Question about flushing the plant in preparation of harvest, do you do an immediate full double water to gallon ratio flush then water as necessary? Or is it a gradual, only water for 2 weeks when needed flush?

No need to do a heavy flush. Just give them their normal amount of pHed water without the nutes.

Thanks once again Muddy, I don't think this site would be where it is without you man.. One last question for now if you have time and see this.. when adjusting Hydro PH, how many points of a full ph level can I adjust daily without any ill effects? So as my water constantly goes up, usually to the point of high 6's, Of 6.6, as an example, how many -.# or +.# is a safe adjustment range?

Okay so I need some help people..
I have made my first batch of silver colloidal nuts as seen here: SDC14509.jpgSDC14502.jpgSDC14504.jpg
notice how you can see the flowers from the part of the stem that I have not sprayed. Awesome stuff. Anyways, my question is now, How long should I wait before removing this plant/ or this stem into water before it produces pollen? Should I do it now or wait a little? If anyone can give me advice I need it asap, and thank you. My plant does not have much longer before it will be harvested and I only have two week tops to make some seeds. Thanks!

2. What is a good cal/mag product for foliage feeding? Can you use hydrated lime in distilled water for Cal? I wouldn't dare use molasses for the sticky nightmare it would produce. So can you use lime and epsom?

3. After I put these plants that have not gone under full auto flower under 12/12, do I continue 12/12 as a photo, or when they start to flower treat them as the auto they were supposed to be at 20/4? It's so weird and disheartening that these plants all sexed like they should of but they didn't autoflower. I cannot recommend Sagamartha's White Russian Auto's due to this, 5/5 did not autoflower.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Hey man. So you're wanting to pollenate your plants two weeks from harvest? That isn't enough time to grow mature seeds. You should pollenate around 5 weeks whenever the buds form pretty good, so that they have another 4 weeks to make seeds.

Molasses and epsom salt works great for cal/mag, not sure about the lime, but you wouldn't want to foliar feed in flowering anyway. You risk getting the buds wet and the chance of bud rot. If they aren't autoflowering then you can put them under 12/12. Hope this helps/

Yah I hear you man which is why after I pollinate I have some options, I can leave the branch on after harvest and allow it to finish out it's life as long as possible, or I can wait till harvest and cut the branch and put it in water and allow it to use its stored energy to finish off the seeds, maybe even add a mild vitamin and fert solution to the water. Or as a last ditch, I can save the pollen, buy one pick and mix seed, and fert it in a later grow. But I am more concerned as to when I should remove this stem or plant from the grow? I would of pollinated earlier, but I have been spraying this plant daily for 3 weeks, so that doesn't leave a lot of time in an auto- 3 weeks for seedling 3 for veg then 3 for flowering and preflowering.. 2 for finishing and flushing.

Thanks for chiming in squid, let me know what you think.

Ok I see what you mean. I wasn't trying to shoot you down or anything. I forgot that I have seen that before. It would take a while to figure out where I saw it though. Have you searched with the search bar to see if you can find any info on it? I know it's here somewhere.

I would just make sure that you take it out or remove that branch well before it is able to drop pollen, obviously. If it's just the one you have sprayed and made hermie and you have space elsewhere for it, pull it out now. Like I said though, I know there are more solid answers here somewhere.

No I wasn't offended or anything, it's just many people don't take in consideration the amount of time it might take to make the plant force male parts as opposed to the overall life of the auto. I started spraying this bitch on week 6 and it has taken this long for the plant to demonstrate what you see now. I am trying to capture these genes off the same plant. I guess I am going to attempt to save a lot of pollen and pollinate it and try a combination of my options.

I answered my own question about CAL, which auto-ak48's need a large amount of after and during pre flower, and hydrated lime in a foilage spray would work best. Since it is already ground up. Going to use it to feed. The diagnosis thread stated dolomite lime but hydrated lime is the same thing nearly. I will give it a shot. But that leaves question number 3 for anyone to chime in on.

Cool. Glad you got that figured out. It would seem easier to just save as much pollen as you can and get to it next time, I know how that is to have to wait though. Good luck man.
