I've been growing in coco using the GH nutrient line for a while now and I always wash and buffer my coco by soaking it in calmag water.
I can't see why not but is there any reason I don't need to do that when using biotabs?

Also, bonus question. If I'm using smartpot autopots, will the air dome still be beneficial or just overkill at that point?

Hey there! - I use biotabs in soil with autopots.

I can't see any reason why you wouldn't want to treat your coco in the same way as normal, the biotabs are just slow release feeds that cover a good lot of bases. You can also buy Slicum Flash from them - this is a product that allows better uptake of available calcium (that's really non technical info - waria or eyes on fire can give the science)

I don't know about the airdome, and have always used the square plastic pots.

I really like biotabs as over the 4-6 grows i've done with them, they've proved mostly trouble free. Keep an eye on the plant and see if it needs anything.

biotabs is essentially microbial life for the soil and root system producing nutrients needed for the plant. no need to flush. its all organic.

i use the full line. 100% happy.
