Day 21 above ground for the gelat-og. She had a couple of days at the edge of the room using the cob whilst I had no cfl. Was gunna see how she got on but she wasn't moving much so picked a new one up today. Almost instantly perked up a bit. My cobs are only 3500k so no veg light there really.
Mixed a new patch of feed up today of mills A+B, start & moonshine. @ 1.4 ec. Slightly knocking the strength up as she's definitely out of seedling and into veg now.

3500k is fine for veg but more then likely it was getting to much light or not enuff I know this from doing it I built 4 different cob setups and have since switched to linear strip less to get 100% even canopy coverage.

My plants do seem to do ok under them to be fair but the younger ones at least I like to give the cfl. When I switched from blurple to cob I must of fried 4/5 seedlings in a row whilst getting to grips with them haha now I like to play safe at least in the early days lol.

That's wat I mean they are more of a flashlight lol once you get comfortable with it they aren't bad but u are 100% right about them burning up if you ydon't know ur setup. I was able to figure out a stationary height that they grew up to so i didnt have to adjust the light. Wat kind of CFL do u use I've seen some great grows with CFL so don't think I'm knocking it.

I usually use a 125w 6400k. They suit me quite nicely in the early days. Plus they put a little extra heat out which can be an issue on nippy days. Sometimes with just the cob in I can be down to 18°c. She'll be upstairs soon under the 8 cob. I wanna spread that apart though as it's abit too focused.

Day 24...Topped her again today. Side branches too this time, also took the shit first couple of branches off the the bottom other day too. I'll be looking to move her upstairs in the next week or so, so this week's agenda is to tidy and prepare.

Seed delivery came today .
I love these days even though I know what's coming and won't be using them yet it's like being a kid again haha.
I've opted for some sweet seeds this time, first time I've grown any of their strains but I've seen so much good stuff on here about them and they do have some tasty looking strains. so they've been on the back burner a while. I went for sweet afghani delicious, red poison and gorilla girl. All had a promo for an extra seed which I didn't realise until i opened the mail......BONUS .
I usually use seedsman and now at this point I have more freebies than I do bought seeds from the past couple of buys. Another bonus.

Mid week 4 update. She's been under the cob a week now and doing great. All the tops have grown out and I've started training her out. Feeding at 1.7ec this week. She's still not upstairs yet as I've been busy and haven't been arsed when I've got in lol. This weekend though she'll be in the autopot and filling tent up

Better late than never but she's finally up there. Bit of a tidy up and spread out and away she goes. She seems really vigorous. Nice thick stems and huge leaves. The nets not up yet as I'm debating whether to use the one I have been or get another as this one's holes are huge.
Day 35 today...day 1 on her own.

Week 6 from seed update. Not much excitment to tell as we're still vegging but she's doing great so far. Been up there a week now. Another 1 maybe 2 and I'll flower. She's been feeding at 1.8ec this week.
