Ive had some go under some go over, been growin SS for a year as our regular smoke, not our favorite but its our go to in between other strains. we chose for this because it is the fastest one we have at moment and wanted to see how it compared to other grows of it.

Our yeilds ave beensub par on the regular regardless, whiel growing a bit, neither of us have real green thumbs, so things go longer then told only because they get stunted at some point, usually The Paint brain farts at one point. So this strain hopefully will give us the best comlarison. Normally we plant one of these along with one or two others to continuously grow, knowing this strain will be done a week or so before others to keep him with meds during the off weeks.
That's great that you are experienced with this strain so you can get some good comparison notes. Will be interested in how they work out for you.

Is that an airline going into your reservoir? If so, I would discourage it as I found that it kept raising the pH of my reservoir. I tried a submersible pump to move the water around and an airstone with the same results. The air domes under your soil should inject plenty enough oxygen.

And thats why i dubbed you the guru.

Thanks for that tip, and this gives me an extra air pump for expansion now!

ill save that lead for compost tea making!

:crying:I can't take credit for that tip. That's just personal experience and the wise words of pop22. I do have a yardstick that I check my water depth daily and in turn give it a good stir. Not really necessary with plain water but I think it helps when using nutrients in the reservoir.

Now one tip I can take credit for is, never wash your autovalves over an open drain. Nothing like watching your yellow silicones wash down the drain. Midgrow with no way to get new ones locally is not a fun time. I now own a couple dozen extra ones just in case I ever make that mistake again. :smoking:

Good to know. Ordering 4 more pots next week, I will have to grab a bunch of those as well on that tip.

See....guru

I also recommend extra pots since you can start your next crop and hand water them for three weeks while finishing off your previous grow, giving you a faster turn around time. Chop one down just as your new girls are ready to put on the reservoir. I just love these autopots. :smoking:

Thought about rigging up a second water tub, and turning the third bedroom into a greehouse too....depending on how these next few grows go. It would be nice to plant a big variety at once and....letlem go!

Any old 13 gallon kitchen trash can could be used as a reservoir. I have an extra one when wanting to run different strains together or when testing two different nutrient solutions on a strain.

Exactly what I was thinking too.

And for our longer times away, We've got a plethora of blue 55gal water drums.
