Midweek update

My seedlings haven't been very happy going with full strength on the Dutch Pro schedule, so I've cut everything in half that means I'm putting in 100 ml of multi total 50 of the take root and 125 of the A and B. In a 30 gallon Reservoir.

I I'm filling the reservoir as I dictate this and I will pH everything down to about 6. When I'm done I'm going to flush out all the other nutrients I put in already. And hopefully I will be off to a good start by next update.

I had a similar issue.. The recommended dosage seemed high for my plants and I had to cut it in half. Now that they are in the stretch phase, they are wanting heavier fees. I just filled my response last night with the 1st full strength mix. I'm on day 30 or so. The ec on their feed chart says it should be at 2.0 with full strength feeds. So I ran the veg mix at .7 ec. A little less than half strength.

what kinda of dose you were giving? I started mine with a precharge(1/3rd the dose) and won't be using res until they at 3rd set true leaves,my pot should hold them until then...Full strength seems kinda high for seedlings(nearly all nutrients you'd start at 1/3rd...Kinda the unspoken rule imo)If there are any you can start at full strength I wouldn't of been brave enough to try...hahaha..I broke down into Gallons to figure out my correct dosing, since i was precharging using gallon jugs..I also have my dose set for 12gals once res does go on...One of my four plants is probably 3-5 days away from res..

I was feeding approximately double of what I just mixed up. I've been able to do. I have been starting off with some nutrient lines at full strength and some of them I haven't, I guess this one is one that you don't want to start off at full strength.

yeah I wouldn't start any at full strength, I always start 1/3.. When the res goes on that will be at full strength, but my plants will be plenty strong enough by then to handle that, plus with my calculations I come up with I feel I'm in the safe area( I doubt it will be too much for them) I have my own little set back this week, 1 of my Led driver's died, so I now have wait for replacement Driver to come in...

My soil chart starts Grow A & B at 2 weeks, full strength 2 ml per liter. The plants liked it.

Anyone else having to use ph up? The issues I am having are ph related. The issues got worse so I checked the autopot res and the ph was 3.8. So I decided to mix a few new gallons and get the ph right. I decided to check the ph after I was done mixing. 3ml per liter of growth a&b. 1ml per liter multi tool. In that order. The ec was 1.1. The ph was about 3.8. I don't remember checking the ph last time. And if I go back a few posts, I feel like my first time mixing/posting, the ph was around 3.8 and I thought it was my error because I mixed on the wrong order or something. Can you guys post what your reading are the next time you whip some up?
I'd like to know of its the same around the board.

Last mix I did was down around 3.8 pH. Next time I mix I'm going to add enough si to the water before I start so I don't have to pH up after adding nutes. Never thought about checking how well it holds it's pH.

Pretty sure 3.8 was my exact #

yes I did, I actually mentioned to someone else about that... It was first time I ever used ph up after adding nutes, I thought maybe coz my precharge dose was on low side, but now I guess not since your asking also...

I don't have any issues with my ph rising after I get it where I want it...It's staying stable for me..
