Hi everyone!

As mentioned in my intro post, I'll be trying my hand at combining Photoperiod genetics with Ruderalis to create some hopefully fun autoflowers.

I'll be asking several questions along the way as I research and figure this out, as I have never tried to create an autoflower from scratch.

What I have for Ruderalis:
Kurgan: Ruderal Urals Cannabis / southern Urals, Russia
Siberian: Ruderal Siberian Cannabis / Chelyabinsk, southern Russia
Kaghan: Ruderal Himalayan Cannabis / Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

Admittedly I am not very familiar with any of these. Some have longer/shorter veg and/or flowering times than others from what I understand. As well different aroma, shapes and sizes as base profiles. So I am very curious as to the selections process and what I am going to see and what I'll be looking for to breed.

I will be growing these both indoors and outdoors as needed.
What I will do is set up 3 sections of all Ruderalis and keep a grow log so that everyone can see the performance and profiles of each variety (assuming there is much difference- I have no idea).

I will additionally be growing some pure landraces as I can find, and I feel like I will have fun combining the two:
-Afghan
-Mazar
-Iranian
-Kerala
-Kush (I am still deciding which region to go with)
-Swazi
-Durban Magic
-Malawi
-Mozambica

This isn't a firm list as much as they are some of my options. But it's subject to change to be the most fun. I also have some Norstar Genetics that I may try my hand at making an auto. Perhaps their Goo-Chee from a few years back to start.

So this is all for fun, but I want to do this right.

Anyways that's it for now. Feel free to leave any feedback or constructive criticism or ideas!
I'll post updates as things come along.

You all be safe out there!

Update on first STS on autoflowers experiment.
I generally hit a photoperiod with STS about a week before switching to flower with 100% success rate for creating pollen.
Since autoflowers are like that jack in the box game, I waited for first signs of sex then hit it. However as it continues into flower, I am not sure if this cluster will continue into sacks.
Pic 1 is when I hit it upon seeing the sex/pistils.
Pic 2 is it's progression today.
As a response to this, starting week 3 I am going to hit them once every 5 days with STS to stay ahead of the flowering. Maybe I was too late.
I have used this STS on my photos without issue. Perhaps I should make a more concentrated solution.
Anyone have any feedback on this and their experience with timing?
