Problems starting up...

did you get the temp's up mate? I'm with ALR, I see P defc. in those leaves, beyond what's normal fading for this stage,.... Low T also screws with micronute's uptake, especially Fe and Zn, and I do see some of the tell tale "zebra stripping" on the upper leaves,...

I have my pots sitting on seedling mats set to 75F. The ambient temp. in the tent is ~79F.
I've started leaving the jugs of water I use in the tent so that they are as close to the same temp as the plants when watering.
I posted some pictures Saturday here:
Day 56 for the SODK and Ghost Toof [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG].
SODK is in the middle on the left.
The two little ladies are 4 Assed Monkey in 3 gallon Rain Science bags. They're 8 days...

Well The SODK is at day 72 and a lot of the sugar leaves are going brown and crisping up!
Any thoughts??? The lights is about 20-22" away, temps are 75-78F at cola hight.
I'm not noticing any amber trichomes yet, but I'm getting nervous and wondering if I should start harvesting some of the branches that are loosing sugar leaves.
Ideally I'd like it to go another week or 2!
Also I'm already starting to see some discoloration marks on the older fan leaves on the 4 assed moneys that I started(day 24.)
All they've gotten is a tiny amount of Mega Crop so far. Less than a 1/4tsp per gallon.
Otherwise my tent set-up and general practices have not changed...

an Ec meter will help tell you "How Strong" your feed is................... the soil the 24 day olds are in is either very hot with nute, the Ph is below 6.0 or the feed is to strong........................without an Ec pen no way of diagnosing the repetitive issue......................... your new soil the 24 day olds are in ??.................... is the Ph between 6.0 and 6.7 ??...........................what Ec is a 200ml run off showing ??.....................2.4 is very high, you want it around the 1.2 mark if new "Pre Ferted" soil etc..............your soil temp around 22-24c ??..........if 19c = to low for propere nute assimilation.......what is your grow medium temperature ??..........is it in the culture range ??........ ALR

Soil is the same combo as my first round grow
Top half BioBizz Light, bottom half Roots Original. I'm thinking the Roots soil could be a little hot...
Containers are all sitting on seed warming mats set to ~23c(73f) with a probe stuck in one of the pots. So my soil medium temp. stays between 22-24c
I don't have an Ec meter. I'd rather not get one.
I'd like to find a soil that I could use simply with Mega Crop and water and not be dependent on testing, re-testing, adjusting, second guessing- at every step of the way.
I really want to K.I.S.S.
But, if my plants keep progressing in a negative direction, I'll have to invest in some more tools and supplies to make this happen!
Thank you for you time and advice

Roots Original soil? Not hot at all,... the Bizz is so light it's like a seedling starter mix, so between them, they are far far from even a minimal input soil,... KISS can be $$, if you want to buy and ship "water only" soils,... even then, some inputs are recommended, like teas, inoculant, Si, humic-fulvic, kelp/micronute supplement....
A lot of folks are getting nice results with Megacrop (Greenleaf Nutrients), which is a complete all-in-one feed,... that said, many also reduce the MC during bloom and use a PK booster to lower the N input and raise PK (MC is N heavy)....
regardless, there's no getting around monitoring your pH in-pot, and testing and adjusting (if needed) you inputs goes a long ways to saving hassles and fixes down the road... TDS meters are inexpensive, and while you may not need it all the time, it give vital info about your water and nute solution conc. which again, goes a long ways to preventing issues.... things like hard tap water can become an in-pot pH issue as the minerals build up,....

Thanks for the write-up and mentioning the TDS meter. That helped when searching for one online.
I just ordered one, along with a soil ph tuning-fork tester.

Onward and upward!
