Help my 2 plants are suffering.

I can't get that in the UK, well I can, but it is too expensive.
What do you think to this
That should do the trick, its just powder instead of the granules like the epsoma. I would spread a handful or 2 to the top of the soil and water in.

Give it a day or so and your soil ph should be better. Also, any changes in your plants take a week or so to show. So usually when you first start seeing a problem, it likely started at least a week back. Helps when trying to figure out what happened lol

Thanks Susitna, i'll order some this week

I check ph regardless of what soil/nutes I use. In other words every time I feed/water I check
Just started doing that properly tonight, it was interesting
, all my plants are looking sick at the moment.
So I'll just try and do my best to get on top of it somehow.
Checking ph is a good start though :d5:

I wouldn't put all that into the compost lol, but a bit mixed in will add som cal mag at least.

I would imagine whoever put those bags there to begin with probably used it to spread on lawns and other large areas to help the soil.

Sorry i got to your thread late bro..ill sub from here on. But in my experice less is more when trying to remedy a ph. Lock out nutrient deficiency / toxicity issues. I use baking soda all the time to raise my waters ph. I use vinegar to lower it. If its a p.h lock out issue meaning the low ph isnt allowing your roots to asorb the available nutrients. Then adding those other additves is pointless. Just forget about the self buffering aspect of your soil and buffer it yourself from now on. Add some baking soda to your water and ph it to 6.5 -6.8 and start with a small flush. That will help wash the salts from the soil that hasnt been absorbed by the roots because of the ph lock issue. Add a shot of cal mag about half strenth and just give it some time. Its a plant it dose best when you fix the issue and give it time to recover.
Hope it helps
