please help drying !! dense buds

@Grove Bags have a couple nice articles on their website about drying and preventing mold. I read through these a couple times and ended up buying some bags as well.

Very nice read up. Thanks. I like the sweating idea. Have you tried this yet by chance?

I have not. I'm still hang drying right now but about to put them in jars later today with a hygrometer. If they are right at or below 60% probably right into the grove bags. I didn't get any super large dense buds so I don't think I'll need to sweat anything. If I do better on my next grows I hope to need to!

To the OP, @St. Tom, and everyone interested on here about the wedryer. Think st. Tom just saved me 130 dollars or better in long run Thanks Almost 72 hours into the paper bag dry method and just exchanged air for the first time. All looks great inside of there. if this continues this direction I will no longer be worried or wondering what my next drying approach will be for buds. Will update when dry if anyone is curious or wants me to.
Hey dude, keep me posted on this please, I’m currently in the middle of a 5 auto grow and drying seems to be my week point. I don’t have a problem with mould. It’s loosing its flavour and or the dreaded hay smell. I want to nail it this time around and I think brown paper bags seem to be the way to go.

Np I can do that. Are you wet trimming? And are you controlling RH during drying jw?

Cheers bud, temperature and humidity always slightly fluctuates but never excessive. This time round I’ll have the use of my tent which obviously has intake and exhausts running also the use of my humidifier/De humidifier so the environment can be controlled. I’m still thinking I’m going to take the paper bag route as I haven’t yet tried this method and I hear nothing but good outcomes.

I dont think you can go wrong trying it. Also could try both. I was having a hay smell taste problem until I started dry trimming and keeping humidity in a good zone. Hoping the bag way is as good if not better.

I harvested a wedding cake about 3 and half weeks ago, best plant I’ve grown. I pulled just under 125 grams from her of dense big buds and the dry ruined all my hard work. Now she just sits in her jar lol. There’s no harm in trying both methods since I’ll have my tent free so I’ll give that ago.
