please help drying !! dense buds

Perhaps a dumb question, but could you put the paper bags in your grow tent with the lights on? Really want to take advantage of my carbon filter if possible when drying, but need the lights on for some younger plants. Thanks!

Hey dude, keep me posted on this please, I’m currently in the middle of a 5 auto grow and drying seems to be my week point. I don’t have a problem with mould. It’s loosing its flavour and or the dreaded hay smell. I want to nail it this time around and I think brown paper bags seem to be the way to go.

Day 11 of dry. Seems to be going well. One more day and I'll be putting them in jars.

Someone may have. a better answer. I'm sure it will be fine inside the bags.could hang it at top of tent above the light. Or maybe even use double paper bags instead of one mist to prevent light. But I think should work fine if got room

maybe its not ideal but i put mine in there I've got about 12 bags in mine at the min amongst my pots and i will get some pics later to use the carbon filter and I've never had no issues with potency etc but this is a decision that's on yourself with the light on but its a must for me at times

I feel pretty good about it. It sure beats the homemade clothesline and clothes pins with a fan on it. It's a Tad slower than that way drying but prolly more ideal drying slower. No mold. dont think I have any complaints as long as I dont taste paper bag when smoking I'm prolly set on this method lol. Thanks again

The way I do mine after day 3 or 4 depending how they feel I then half the bags so tip 2 into 1 so half the amount as the buds will have gone a lot more compact and say another day or 2 I them tip more into each bag till I end up with lots in 1 bag and I leave them like that so the moisture in odd buds will all get the same but that's my end goal is all in 1 or 2 bags and if your worried pop a meter in bags and keep your eyes on it and from there into jars so that's my routine .here's 1 I took down on Tuesday

Well all that was left was my bottoms..tops first stage harvest was already drying. I felt more could have gone in each bag initially and will prolly do that next time. More for 4 days. When breathingnthem for first time I'll half the bags. I think that will work good.Thanks.

you will find your own way of doing it and i used to panic but there are very few ways you can fuck it up also about a month and a half ago i found a bag that had fell behind my feed boxes and it was slightly overdried and that had been there months i was so shocked i just jarred it with a boveda 62 and it was fine as sometimes I'm dealing with say 15 bags off 2 big plants so that one going missing i didn't even notice and i don't think id ever dry my weed any other way

Lol dang that's a good amount of time without fresh air. Now I got a goal. Grow so much weed I forget bags of it. Are you putting roughly about 4 ounces wet material per bag?

I've never weighed anything wet but I just cover the bottom of the bag and I can always take a pic when I chop this fat petes cookies in a few days
