Or you could creat what I'd think be a much more potent auto and keep breeding them out ( (autoxphotoxphoto to hopefully you'll find another pheno that has the auto gene in it) ) and you'll eventually get the auto trait out without having as much ruddy influence.... Maybe will set you back one generation at most... Remember the larger sample your able to grow out the more likely you'll find your photos that carry the auto gene.

Currently I'm seeing with my auto x photo grows I'm seeing phenos that start throwing positils the moment they go on 12/12 where as others lag behind like the typical photo... So my educated guess is these that are throwing pistils so fast and mad are the photo that have the auto trait (Aa)
Just keep your eye on the prize... You'll get there...
I got to say though was very pleasantly surprised with just the f1 autoxphotos (they are like I guess the sweet seeds fast verisions or a super auto) cloneable and so quick to flower that I almost hate to see it go auto... some say auto gene is rec I say it's rec dominate .... The auto gene is like a herpe once you got it you'll always have it and given the right conditions it will show itself... The auto gene is the herpe gene of cannabis .. don't mind me a little bit on the :Sharing One:

yea I know what you mean about hating to see it go auto, the auto x photo f1's I have played with 75% or so show sex by the 6th node may happen so soon since I run a 16/8 light cycle, but once they are a good 2 weeks into bloom I can toss them back into the veg room to finish up not this girl though she stayes outside in a greenhouse. wouldnt mind working my way towards a better auto x photo cross just for early harvests outdoors since they go into bud so fast

she is finishing up, swelling has stopped hairs are dying and the smell still citrus has the ripe smell she went through 4 frosts (I'm retarded and left her out a few nights =\) 3-4 weeks with very little light and low temps because of weather but ultimately I am EXTREMELY happy with the plant I picked to move onto the next generation Harvest pics will be next could be another week, who knows, she will tell me when she is done.

well she gave me about 400ish seeds and a pile of shake, now onto the next phase!! forgot to take pictures, at this point its just a pile of shake so not really picture worthy

your going to want to cross it back with the original auto to try to stablize the the auto gene.

also , sometimes the fastest way isnt the best way

if you want "your" auto strain to be as close to the photo strain as possible never back cross to the auto , just inbreed the seeds you have , the auto will take over eventually , with that being said i would advise breeding for the photo qualities/traits you want while avoiding the auto trait as it will force its way in no matter how much you avoid it

might take more time , but your finished product will be far more like the original and 10 X's better then if you chase the auto gene

No plans to back cross anytime soon if at all, ultimately after my own auto for further projects and learn about breeding traits along the way.
