Okay guys so I have started off my first grow and there seems to be something wrong with my plants and it’s the middle of day 13. Had to deal with a little stretching in the beginning since I started them in a window and they started really getting tall got a little plant starter light from the grown shop which stopped them from getting any taller thank god but we seem to have a different problem now.

K.O. [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] seems to have fat leaves with the spikes on the end really dull also doesn’t seem to be very symmetrical from side to side and the smaller newer leaves seem very droopy.

K.O. [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] seem to be almost opposite leaves are very narrow and seems like the spikes are missing in some sections. Stem also seems a tad droopier than normal.

I feed them distilled water with 5mg of liquid karma per 1 gallon of water. The light is a 24” fluorescent light for seedlings (thinking of hanging my mars SP-150 up soon). I just don’t know exactly what these plants need but it seems like they are both experiencing something different.... any help at all would be great!

She doesn’t look all that bad to be honest. Mine are always leggy, sometimes they trick me into bringing the lights down and I burn them. Really not bad for first grow day 13.

@davisgirl I must just be paranoid, first time so I’m on edge everyday I look at them lol. Every time I think I have a huge problem You guys are always there to ease my mind!
Haha believe me, I know how it goes. Nope, not time to panic yet, so far so good. It is your first grow though, so it will fuck up. Just not yet. No seriously, you’ll be amazed balls how much you learn the first go round, and sooner than later you’ll be smoking your own bud.

They look fine. It's normal for a noobie to think something is wrong when it isn't. Kind of a 'Rite of Passage." The second pic I can't tell if the top of seedling is possibly wrinkled. If so, nothing to worry about. It will grow out of it. Good luck the rest of the way.

The stretching is indicative of insufficient light, hang the mars asap.

The slow growth is either non ideal medium or perhaps just genetic. What's the current medium and what are the transplanting into? 4-5 nodes at 13-15 days is expected, counting from days above soil, not commencement of germination.

As a few have already said, don't worry, they'll come along.

@TheArchitect my medium prolly isn’t the best for what I have going on it is Promix HPCC because my local hydro store didn’t have any regular HP. I figured that it was just light on the Coco I might be wrong I also haven’t really gave them any nutes yet.

Is it possible to transplant into 1L pot and fill the pot so that the stem isn’t so long from what they are in now until they get ready to be planted outdoors or will this just add to much stress and shock ?

It’s definitely not the genetics because all 4 of my plants are doing the exact same thing. I have 2 K.O.’s and 2 El Fuego's going and all are stretched and around the same size.

HPCC is 75% peat, I would want to know in soil ph as peat can get quite acidic without proper buffering. This would explain strange leaf mutations and strange growth patterns.

How long until you plan to transfer outdoors? A double transplant is not advisable. However, if you decide to go that route, look into a 1l pot with heavily perforated or cut openings, inside of a 2nd 1l pot. When it comes time for the outdoor transplant, you just slide off the 2nd 1l pot and plant directly into prepared outdoor hole.

You got it - not genetics but medium.

If you haven't, introduce a feeding regimen.
