Indoor ph rise question

Yeah they are looking amazing, how much does it cost and where can I buy it? Thanks for your advice I will get 2 of them, I thought I had a good airstone but apparently it was crappy one :p. You don't need to excuse I'm happy I get so many responses to my dumb question.
Got my new ph meter today, it just can't be compared with my old :) :booya:

Hey komach,

Nice to have a decent meter ain't it... Makes life much easier.

I'm on my phone and not sure how to put links up. You in the uk?
If so I have seen them on a lot of Koi (fishies) web sites. One in particular was costal koi. I've got dinner plate ones and the barrel type one. All very good.

Hope this helps

The round or like you call it 'dinner plate' are the same as I have, but I was interested in particularly this one Ceramic flat type high Pressure air stone as it seems to be something special and I guess better as well. I will search and if I'll get it will let you know :howdy:

no not unless they aren't recieving enough air
try 10 on and five off if your roots are a bigger mass in a smaller res
the key is enough air w/o too much, most bubble all the time under the assumption they are adding what is needed until they understand better
the ph swing drift will be lower if you are adding the correct amount of air
too much or too little will alter the ph at harder spikes as well
this is what makes it tricky but letting it bubble all the time and dealing w/ a bigger ph swing drift on a constant basis is still harder on plants
as explained the plant needs dif needs at dif times and to give the same extra all the time is not needed and toxic if you give too much
like if you give too little
the statement of half on half off will kill them is not true only if air ratios are too low will they suffer also like ph being not at exact levels for absorbtion because too much air is added at times it is not needed
remember it is a balancing act like a teeter totter constantly rising on one side and exchanging w/ the other side to remain level more often
and as discussing the balancing act if too much air turbulation is given it will increase the res temp as well try to keep pump out of light this will keep it cooler and the less it is ran the lower the temp will be as well if you can keep pump out of hotter grow room and run in an air line
on larger systems a chiller unit can be added but would be pretty costly for your situation of temp fluctuation

i hope this doesn't sound rude but you are asking questions i delt/w yearsssss ago and learned to resolve(like ph pen not compensating for temp issues??)
to "tell" me what will happen is an assumption i would think you couldn't really make at this point in your knowledge

No offence, but I dont try to tell you something or learn, it was first idea that came to my head. :peace:

no harm tis hard to get a feel for tone of voice in a post:)
and dif phrasing w/ lang barriers make things harder to do over posts sometimes as well

Got tones of advices but nothing worked. Got new ph meter still the same. Pre-made my solution to 5.2 it stays like this whole night nothing changed and after 2 hours of bubbles = 6.2.
All my guesses where fault about my ph rise issues :cuss:. I found the thing!!! it is my airstones and to be exactly correct it is Tourmaline in them! All my tries and searches where hopeless. Will go tomorrow to the hydroshop to get new airstones

Thanks to all who tried to help me and excuse me.... :(

Far fucking out man.. that IS useful info. + rep for getting to the bottom of that because I know how fucked off you must have been throughout, yet you stuck at it and ended up bringing-to-light some really important data on dodgy airstones with Tourmaline in them. Lovely.

:peace:

<goes off to check airstones>
