New Grower pH Problem?

If you do pure coco, do lots of homework, starting here in the coco section! It cannot be treated like true soil, or shit will go sideways sooner or later,.. coco is a specialized soilless medium, requires a lot of labor, constant pH and TDS readings going in and out, 15-20+% run-off each time,... done right, you can grow monsters in small volume pots, but you will work for it unless you use drip systems,... Oddly Autopots seems to do pretty well with coco,...
can you get Roots Organics soil, or Black Magic? Royal Gold King's mix is great, my fav' but not always readily available,.. I get the frustration!
I think I could probably pick up some Royal Gold King in my area. I'm from the East coast and most places are an hour away.

... If you can call around and see, maybe preorder? They make 3cf bags too, better deal,... Also, look for Coast of Maine Stonington blend soil, that has a good rep too,....

I bought a blue labs soil tester. My pH is quite low at 5.6. can I raise the pH of my water to bring it back up or do I need to amend with lime or baking soda? I've been watering at 6.4 but progress has been slow.

never baking soda unless it flaming red alert bad, too much Na to use much,... 5.6 is getting bad, so pH up to 7.0, give a really good watering, with about 20% run off to flush things out some,... test the run-off pH to see how it's going...
