PH Plan Quick Start

@Mossy and everyone on BS. I'm here at the end of the thread, having read it all. I have to ask, do the galloping trots that you mentioned, Mossy, continue for as long as you're taking the BS? Or is it just until the body starts to get used to the effects?

And can some nice person suggest my best source for Magnesium flakes as I have to contend with astronomical postage costs to the Canaries? UK / mainland Europe / somewhere else?

Thanks and love,
L :bighug:

@Island Grower Your body will adjust to the BS.

Everything needs to be taken in balance.

Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is generally well tolerated. However, high doses may cause headache, nausea or irritability. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: muscle weakness, slow reflexes and confusion, swelling of the feet or ankles, black tar-like stools, coffee-ground vomit. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use if you are on a sodium restricted diet unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor or a pharmacist before use if you are taking a prescription drug. Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. Do not administer to children under age 5 without careful consideration. To avoid injury do not take sodium bicarbonate until the powder is completely dissolved and it is very important not to take baking soda when overly full from food or drink. Consult a doctor if severe stomach pain occurs after taking this product.

There is more to this article that is worth reading.

I buy my Magnesium flakes from Jedwards International but I'm in the US.

Will it dissolve easily with tap water or does it need hot water? I am going to try it around Christmas while im off work.

@Mossy - Found it! Sal de Frutas sabor limon, 1,65EUR. Hiperdino also stock one by Carmencita which is a smaller packet and more expensive. I now have both and will take my first dose in about 10 minutes which will be 2 hours after lunch. 1/3 tsp in 200ml warm water, is that right?

@Root - thanks for the reassurance, I don't want my holiday spoilt by not daring to go anywhere in case of accidents!

@Mossy @Root is it SUPPOSED to fizz up straight away in the glass? I'm adding it to cool (not even tepid) water and it's going mental every time. I'm using the fruit salts that Mossy said to get. Could there be something in the water that's reacting with it, and I should use bottled instead?
