PH Plan Quick Start

Wow. By page 9, I was leaking tears. Friends have tried to drag me here for the last 4 years, but I've been to busy... yadda... whatever. Kinda stubborn, like my goats were... Working over 20 years in the Deathcare Industry, what angers me is that this info is being deliberately hidden, not just not published.
REading in here, hearing coins drop, thinking "snap!" Sign me up. I'm a trainwreck.
I have a kg of bicarb upstairs in my soaping supplies, about the same in MgCl here in the kitchen (which I've been off of for above reasons)...
Suffice it to say, I've taken my doses of both, plus made a MgCl oil rub blend with essl oils.
So, to bed. In the AM I'm gonna be busy... taking some bicarb & MgCl rub, then logging in here to do an intro...

After only a few days of correctly using the bicarb, I feel that I am breathing better. Might be overdoing it, but I'm using the 1/3 tsp. about 5 times per day (incl. whenever I get up during the night, about 2 doses).
Have made the Mg oil & am using about 1oz transdermally all over every day - about 3x full-body rubs. Sadly, bathtubs are extremely rare down here - only about 3% of houses have them. We scored an old one from a neighbor for our house in the woods. We will refinish it & get it mounted in the house soon (but lacking running water, will continue with footbaths until we get another 250gal tank for rainwater). We kinda want to stay OFF the grid...
After the 2nd day, I grabbed self by hair & we made a 6k walk & pulled weeds, etc. to prep for the season. I was really surprised to make that walk...
Have noticed the Mg helps me warm up when I get the chills. (I have only thumbs & 3 fingers with 1/2 moons left.) Also, when lying on my side (7 busted ribs), it didn't ache as much to breathe. Instead of being curled in a ball, I was able to stretch out on my back (haven't been able to lie flat for years) and I felt so good. Am breathing deeper as well.
Can't wait til it starts helping me sleep. "Normally," I have to stay up til exhausted to the point of falling asleep w/a book or TV (yuk) before going to bed. "Normally," I wake up off & on, getting about 2-3 hours of sleep & dozing the rest of the night.

If you haven't tried it yet, add some BS to your bath, along with the mag. What a dynamite combo!

That does seem like a lot...great for detox!
How do you feel now?
The extra oxygen in your body helped on that 6K walk.
AS a maintenance dose of b/s we usually mix 1/2 teaspoon b/s with 8oz water twice a day. We recommend no more than 1 teaspoon a day split into 2 doses. With the last dose at bedtime.
However sometimes I forget or can't manage the 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating. On those days, I drink a lot of lemon juice.
It won't be long before you'll be able to tell where your PH is by the way you feel.

I have found that warming the oil a little makes it work faster/better.

I'm surprised it hasn't helped with your sleep...makes me sleep like a baby...especially when Eek gives me a massage with it at bedtime.

I'd Love to hear more about your life off the grid. If we were 20 years younger...

Thanks, Root. I used to make yogurt from my goats' milk & it worked the same on the dogs. They'd sit semi-circle while I was milking. LOL.

You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a pH meter here. Pffft! I've looked on Mercado Libre (Uruguay's answer to eBay) & have pounded the pavement in bordertown with Brasil, but no joy... yet. I am persistent.

That day as the best I have had yet. Now, I'm reducing my coffee, from about 12 cups a day of instant to 3 cups of really good pressed coffee. Found molasses.

Still haven't experienced any of the "detox quick-step" yet, but find it's good 1st thing in the AM.

A friend gave me a 4oz bottle of infused high CBD olive oil & this is helping my sleep a bit. Can't wait to get our move over with - the tourist noise is starting early this year & people down here don't eat dinner until 10 or 11pm... Even the kids are still running outside until 2 or 3am. <groan>

Haven't had a day like that since, but am determined to recapture that feeling again. I got really busy & didn't do the MgCl for 2 days & man, I hurt like crazy until I got back on it yesterday!

Big thanks for the tip - using the BS & Mg together! I had been wondering if that is ok. I have a number of good tubs for foot baths & just bought a deep round one about 16" tall and 3' circle so I can get more of me into the bath. We'll be economizing on water in the woods, but I will keep up the foot soaks. We try to keep to 2-3 liters of water for bathing atm, then it goes to the garden.

Reckon I'd better dilute it pretty good before watering the plants, eh?

Off the grid, I have sanity & peace; in town, noise & dust, rowdy, drunken tourists. This will be the last season we rent <hope!> if we can get our fireplace built & installed before April (our fall). I will do a thread in General discussion forum when we get a bit further ahead. ATM, the yards are overgrown, but we're working on it. Once we're moved back in, things will change rapidly...

We will be getting a generator to charge the PC and phones, but want to put in a solar system. I'm trying to educate myself, but not much time to study & mind doesn't want to absorb much tek at the moment. I gotta learn, tho. We have no repair services here.

I am fairly new here. I am also a new grower. I'm just a noob period. Any who roots referee me to this thread as I was interested in juicing cannabis how to do it yadayada. I have lots of medical issues going on and I am utterly tired of seeing doctor after doctor an pills for temp relief. Needless to say I take no medication anymore no matter how bad things get. So here is a basic run down of what I know is going on for a fact.
Hypothroidism- I just got an ultrasound done today because of goiter. There we're a few things discovered on the left an right side of my thyroid that they won't disclose to me until Friday. Yeah I went ape Shit.
I have a lump growing on the right side of my neck on a lymph node which I discovered by researching that it is one of the first signs of thyroid cancer ha go figures right.
Low platelet levels 135
Migrains
Mini strokes
Depression/anxiety
Memory loss almost like a fog. I literally have to think while driving if I stopped at a red light or stop sign. MRI and cat scan with contrast reveil "I'm good" I don't believe that.
Bowel problems poop every 3-4 days if I am lucky and I'm eating a high fiber whatever I can lol
I'm on my second fight of cervical cancer
There is so much. I'm sure I left out things
My diet sucks. I barely eat, meaning I force myself to eat dinner. I have no want to eat AT ALL but I am gaining weight. I am always tired. I go to sleep wide awake an wake up exhausted. Everyday I push myself as I have three young children an my husband suffering from back issues. I need to do something and fast. I have a Ph meter an tested in the a.m. at 6.5 now I know that's not correct. Pulled the battery out an tried again an it the same. THERE is no way in hell that's right. So as you can imagine I have a bazillion question but it see the more I read the more confused I get. How long can you do the bs for? Any help is so greatly appreciated. O one major factor or two. I am/was a smoker ciggs that is. As of an hour ago I stopped an hope I'm mind strong enough to keep it that way. I live in a house with a lot of sick people an negative energy. I am trying to move by the summer. I just totally forgot where I was going with this. There is goes the memory again. I'm sure you all get the idea. Hope to hear from you all your stories have caught my interest for a better healthier life.

I'm sure the sooner you start the PH Plan, the sooner you will feel better.
We recommend that you first, stop all soda and sugar. Soda is the same ph as battery acid.
Then take 1/2 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 8 oz of water first thing in the morning (make sure it is an hour before you eat anything).
In the evening, take 1/2 tsp in 8 oz water - Make sure you drink it 1 hour before eating or two hours after eating.
The reason for this is food causes a different chemical reaction than we want...it is an antacid.

Fill this out for 7 days. In a thread would be nice, we can monitor your ph.

Juicing, not only cannabis but anything high chlorophyll will raise your ph and eating foods on the alkaline side.

Honeybfly, we got the diabetes angle covered. It would be good to get an assessment of your overall condition. So if you reply to Roots questionaire, we can go further from there.

As far as dealing with diabetes, take it a step at a time. The only way you can know of something is working, is by only adding one aspect of a plan at a time. With that being said.

I would start with the bicarb. After a week or two, see if most of them are feeling better, then we can go from there.

I would start with that for them.
