DrSircus on magnesium and calcification was an Eye-opener.

The answer to your question is about mixing the two together is yes they are basically doing away with each other. The acid in the vinegar is breaking down the bicarbonate giving off CO2. You would only get benefit from the one most abundant. That is why it is important to take the BS on an empty stomach so that stomach acid does not do the same thing to the BS

Just tried the ph test and it's showing up as 8/9 so I'm going to try the BS 3 times a day.

Right, for info and advice these are what I "suffer" from;
Broken neck - traps a nerve every so often and left side general numbness ensues,
Right leg 1 inch shorter than left, shortened by military surgeon to fix cartilage problems,
Compressed lower spine caused by years of powerlifting/bodybuilding,
Arthritic ankles - knock on effect of other injuries.
Gulf War Syndrome caused by Desert Storm I guess, doesn't officially exists in the UK of course.

PH 8.9...?...I Think your PH meter might be off...could you re-check before you take the BS or it could make you worse.

If you have answered Yes to 3 or more of the above the chances are that you Are already in a Low PH situation with a Magnesium deficiency..and you Need to adjust your diet/PH to avoid a Long Term Chronic Illness.

I used a specimen bottle and ph tester liquid, it went dark green and I've just realized I compared it to a litmus paper chart so I confess I'm a fuckwit!
The liquid test chart shows it at 7 to 8 range so maybe I should avoid the BS until you check my answers?

We don't really suffer from any specific illnesses, so to speak, but general fatigue, mood swings, restless sleep - then again what are those if not dis-eases?

So we've started with BS and then plan to add in the magnesium chloride which I've also been reading about.

I don't have a ph meter but plan on getting one because it seems kinda fun to measure and keep track of.

Looking forward to the boost in the wife's libido too. "astros Wink wink.."

Good morning, happy to hear you are giving the BS a shot. Key point is it must be taken on an empty stomach. If you are like most of us who have tried it you should feel more energy during the trial period. If it works for you olive leaf is probably the next thing you want to add as it will work with the BS to help keep your pH above 7.

Yeah thanks oldster. I read your advice earlier in the thread. 20 min before eating in the morning, 2 hrs after eating lunch and right before bedtime.

I'm gonna look into the olive leaf. I've seen it mentioned a couple times but haven't gotten a chance yet to read about it.

Make sure it is organic, non gmo. Good to have you here bye the way Officinalis.

It should start to affect you in three to four days., for the BS. Once I added the Olive Leaf, my energy took off, and the energy levelled off with a giant leap from where I was. Add some magnesium to your life, and get rid of glutens and sugar, you will be a Rock Star

Hey guys! I've been doing a little reading and watching some lectures lately and I've found a couple sources that state that while our body pH should be at around 7.35 or so, the pH of our urine should test from 6-6.5 in the morning and 6.5-7 in the evening. One source is cancer survivor Jerry Brunetti. He says that since our urine serves to get rid of acidic substances then it will test slightly acidic. What are your thoughts?
 
Hi Officinalis, I think what you found is in line of what we are doing here. When I started the program my pH was around 5.5 in the morning. I had been taking calcium supplements and had a relatively high calcium diet which thought was a good thing.

By raising my pH with the Baking Soda not only did I get more energy but over the months my joints feel better which I believe is from a reduction in calcium deposits. I also had a kidney stone before starting the BS.

Just like with our plants we need something to buffer changes to our pH which is where the Baking Soda comes in. By targeting a positive pH we build a buffer to deal with all those things that pull our pH down into the undesirable ranges which for a lot of people is the norm
