Thanks surffreak for the rep my friend Ya that's about how long i have had my PP. I've had a few nice glass pipes but I'm very clumsy so they always wind up broke Thanks again bro for stopping by
Hi friends. So i'm getting some heavy yellowing on both BH. Like i said before i've had this happen on all my grows but not on my baby ones. They are not due for a watering till late tomorrow. Ill get a ph reading then.
What's goin' on UF? It looks to me like you went in with your pH between 6 and 6.5 and came out with your pH between 6 and 6.5, and that doesn't sound bad. But the liquid method your using is so imprecise... Still no digital meter or pen to get an accurate reading? It seriously makes life a lot easier.
Are you feeding them nutes yet? Looks like they might need an extra taste of some N.
Ya still no ph pen
Yup they are on nutes.
I know right, by the liquid method ph looks ok in and out is what i thought also within reason.
I do have the cheap soil meter and it reads the same 6.5
They just hit me with the yellowing after the last watering. At that time soil meter and liquid method were a bit low then (bout 5.8) so i gave them water @ph7.0. I gave them a good shot of fox farm grow big when i feed them today. Maybe that will help.
I think it might be the soil. I looked back through my notes and see where i added more of the organic soil to the mix on the larger plant and even more on the smaller one. I do not see in my notes where i compensate on the lack of fertilizer by adding more organic soil. Maybe
Ok, as i was looking for a ph meter i think i found the real problem. It was a noob mistake. I got the Trio hydro Not the Trio soil formula The Grow big for the soil is 6-4-4 and they even have a 12-7-7 one. The hydro is 3-2-6. Shown in pics. What do i do to compensate the lack of nutes? This is what has been wrong with all my grows i believe Help and Thanks. Peace my AFN friends
Tiger Bloom is 2-8-4 and Big Bloom is 0.01-0.3-0.7
These numbers are the same in both soil trio and hydro trio. Only difference is the Grow Big.
On Tue 2-21-12 the bigger Blue Himalaya got it's first feeding of Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom 1-tsp/gal of each at 5 weeks.
The smaller Blue Himalaya Got its second feeding of Grow Big 1-tsp/gal at 17 days.
With each gal of nutes i add 1/2 tsp of Grandma's Original Black-strap Molasses All Natural, Unsulphured. Thanks
Nothing there with enough N. That's probably been your problem all along, the lack of N in the Grow Big. Too late for the older ones since they are now on the flowering nutes. You need to get something with more N for the ones still in veg.
