The pots were not completely light proof. I thought it was a bad thing for the roots to get light. It's reflecting silver duct tape with black duct tape under it. No light passes through it. Good or bad?

good. no light to your roots is correct. we were just wondering is all.
Test run on video. Its just from an ipod so the quality is not that great. The BH had a few samples taken is why the lower part is bare. Everything is growing awesome. The BH seed had came out of the soil when i got in last night

Hi friends, sorry about the lack of updates. Anyway i chopped the BH. Smoked a bit and its just right for my preference. The Cobra is looking great but its going to be short and the other two BH are growing fine. Ill post pics later.
So right now im running 170w of cfl lights and with room to add 3 more which would make it 229w. Now my question is 229w of cfl or 180w Black star led which i almost have the funds for or if i can afford maybe 240w black star led.
Would the led be worth the change over from cfl? Even if 180w led is the most i can get? Still have to get another order of seeds also so the 180w might be it. Advice welcome

Update- Everything growing great! Got some yellowing leaves but I've had them on every grow so far. It is a ph issue im sure. I have not yet been able to get a proper ph meter but i'm sure i will one day. Not doing to bad though with just the soil tester and the ph up/down kit Pic are from cam phone. The BH i'm smoking on now is awesome:thumbs:. Thanks for all the views, comments, and likes friends
