New Grower PatRatts First Grow Journal

The light looks kinda dim... How many watts?
She will lean over and grow toward the light if it's not overhead.
That's the best position I can get, and it's the only light I have to put on her. I am limited on growing inside. I plan to eventually move her outside once she is a couple weeks old. I don't really have a place to put her other than in that window. It's one of those grow light bulbs. It says 65W. I found it in the closet and was using it instead of a CFL. Should I use a CFL instead?

If you can't move the light, you can rotate the plant 1/4 or 1/2 turn every day to make her go straight.

Maybe you just invented a new kind of LST: "Light Training." (i.e. use light to get her to grow sideways on purpose)

Happy Growing man I will also be starting my grow with zkittles so I’m excited to see how your plant turns out! Especially since you will be growing outdoors! Good luck

Thanks! I had to start over cus the heat stressed my plants too much. It got up to 110 degrees in the greenhouse on two separate occasions. So I scrapped the White Widow and Zkittlez and started over with a Whiskey Zulu from Twenty20 genetics.

Geeeshhhh 110 yeah those girls were definitely stressing but good luck on the new grow and hopefully no temp problems!

I am actually keeping her inside for the first two weeks under a CFL to keep her from heat stressing again. So hopefully by then she'll be able to take the temps better this way.

Yes I agree once that temp spike clears she should be ready to go back and ash just better like you said. This is good to know some advice for me! Thanks

10 days old today.

Getting bigger by the day now. She's looking pretty good.

No watering yet. Just lightly spraying the top.
