Lighting p300 new grower and new setup

Great sounds good buddy. Ahh how I wish I was in Colorado lol I've been looking for affordable areas to live out there for over a year now. Hopefully I can make it happen in the next year or two. Oh and I was going off the time you stayed in the beginning, you said they were about 3 weeks old so I just did a little math lol
Ya you'll see a little bit of over watering after a good flush, I like to use a little extra perlite for that reason, and hope that the girls are big enough to suck most if that water up in the event I do have to flush. And no problem we're all here to help each other.

Nice grow you have going here. I have two of the P300s and love them. I just have to always remind myself to keep the lights up high when the girls are young. Once they get use to all that PAR I can dial them in a little closer.

Hi fellow growers!!! Here is a week 7 update. I ironed out all the nute issues ... almost. I switched to 12/12 five days ago. The girls have started to stretch just a touch and I can see bud sites forming. This is exciting . My tent is looking VERY full. I did some basic defoliation lower down on nodes that dont get any real light.

A bit of advice for you make sure you have a fan or two blowing across the plants at all times with the tent that packed bud rot can happen quick.

Thanks man, 3 of the girls are finding a new home. I have an inline fan and ground level fan blowing all the time. I was thinking of getting another small fan blowing down on the canopy ... thoughts? @Ripper

The ground level fan is key and make sure it is hitting the back of the tent

Hi all! Here is an update so far 12 days into flower right now. We ironed out the nute issues and are speeding towards a great first harvest. I had to move a few girls out of the tent into my parents greenhouse due to lack of room and light. Things are coming along nicely. More bud sites than I can count even after lollipopping :) everyday is exciting

If you are always looking at your grow under those lights, consider getting something like these.
Amazon product
They do a good job of correcting the colors you are looking at and protecting your eyes. Plus I hold them in front of my camera lens to make the pictures look less purple.

Isn’t that way too many plants under the P300?

I use the same light and only use 3 small autos
