Lighting p300 new grower and new setup

Looking great man. From my experience the females usually show later than the males so maybe no more sex parts is a good thing for now. In which case your gonna need a bigger boat lol
@Ash-a-Ton @johnp540

Thanks guys. Thats a good problem to have.... more ladies more practice :) Better grows each time

That's the plan boss. Great community here. Looks like you got the right people on your thread. Need anything just ask.

Happy Friday Fellow Growers! Here is a week 5 update. We had a fungus gnat problem... I did a h2o2 treatment yesterday. The girls looked sad for a day but are back with a vengeance! We topped two of the tallest girls since they were outpacing the others. I am really impressed with this light. My Dad's plants are older and taller.... but nearly as thick and full as mine. We are using the same nutes, soil, pots and seeds. The only variance is his are in a real greenhouse with a Diamond 300W light and mine are in a grow tent with a Platinum 300W. My dad is shocked every time he comes to see my plants.

@PlatinumLEDTom This light is great. We totally thought that the plants in a real greenhouse with a Diamond 300W would outpace my little grow tent with a cheaper Platinum 300W. I cant wait to see what happens in the next phase. Whos flowers will be better? What do you guys bet?

Looking super healthy @abominableSCOTT! Sorry to hear about your fungus problem, but they definitely looking like they are filling with a vengeance! I'm pretty confident we'll continue to impress your father. Happy growing!

Hey all, need some help. My girls started showing what I think is nute burn. I have been feeding them pretty well... Very dark green leaves, some purple stems, tips of some leaves are yellow and browned just a millimeter or so on some of the growth. I flushed with water and the run off was coming at 6.3-6.8 Thoughts ? ideas?

@PlatinumLEDTom
Hey bud. Is it just the bottom of the plant? When did you first notice it? Also did you check ppms when you flushed?
Tents looking good. Looks like you found some more males, ya? Oh are all the plants showing this, or just this one?

@abominableSCOTT have you started the tiger bloom yet? I'm just curious, is all. I don't think using it or not at this point is the problem, just wanted to let you know that you might need pH up when or if you do start using it. Its pretty acidic, I find that one beneficial way to raise it is with dynagro protekt or you can go the much cheaper route and make your own protekt with agsil 16 here's the link.
https://www.kisorganics.com/products/agsil-16-h-potassium-silicate
I haven't used it yet myself, as I just found out about it after I bought a quart of protekt. Also I'm not saying use it as pH up necessarily, use it as directed, but it's usually been enough in my experience to offset the acidity of the tiger bloom. I hope that makes sense lol I just woke up.

Hey @johnp540 , I havent started the tiger bloom yet. Wanted to veg a little more before. I found 3 males and a total of 9 ladies. My tent it FULL. I see the burn on some of the newer growth. I had several leaves start to yellow from the bottom up... I trimmed them off the day they turn yellow. Not all the plants have the yellow/brown leaf tips. Some are turned town (claw like) some are normal. I have been testing ph everytime I water and feed. 6.3-6.5.

I plan on getting some cal/mag and ph up and down so far i have been pretty lucky with ph.

Thanks again :)

They're what 5 going on 6 weeks now? Round about. Yellowing of the lowers is Normal, unless it's a lot. You should typically get a couple here and there. If you've already flushed, and your pH is pretty much what you've been putting into it. I'd start with a little lighter feed. And see what happens.
What's your water source? Do you have a ppm meter?
Oh and it's your party I'm just here for the bud porn and experience lol But like I said earlier, an affordable and beneficial way of getting pH up some is the agsil 16, or the dynagro protekt. It's also potassium (k). Bunch of benefits with silica, it helps with overall plant health, strengthens cell walls, that's supposed to help ward off powdery mildew and pest.Ph down is cheap too, citric acid (lemon juice). Like I said it's your party boss. Just wanted to let you know. I try to save where I can. I've been tempted to buy pH up and down, but always been good without it. Now if I was doing hydro or something like that I might.

Great guess! Yes 6 week now. I am using tap water here in Colorado. We have pretty neutral water. 6.8-7.3 I dont have a PPM yet. Everyone suggests getting one... so its on the wish list now. Yeah, after the flush I will start on half strength nutes :) I picked up a small bottle of ph down and some calmag. My run off ph has been getting a little high. I really appreciate your help John!!! I have seen a pretty strong recovery since the flush... with some slight signs of overwatering.
