Outdoor Outdoor UK, first time - journal & ref

Day 121, Rainy Somerset, UK... and two of my unknown super-girls are still hanging in there!

For some reason two of them seem slightly more resistant to Botrytis than the other who just got harvested last week, so they're really getting a chance to ripen well.

Some lovely autumn colours going on and the one with the yellowing leaves smells very much like Ginger (not something I ever suspected from weed!)

1.5 to 2 weeks tops, where is your jewellers loop? Go into any high street jewellers and nick one temporarily to look at trichome colour changes. Also, when a majority of your leaves are yellow and dyin, it is time to give it the :smokeit: :chop:

Can I take this time to congratulate you on your sexy ladies of the night from the past, and these super patience testing autos that need some karma to fatten up quickly and get you head fudged!

OMG beautiful, the universe's karma coming your way, I will take mine out coz I am always bad luck:-

Actually, they could do with a boost of ferts for about 10 days any bloom? If you are local in London I can give you some plant magic bloom that I won't be needing as I messed up this year.

I have just had a second look, and it seems like there is minimum 2 weeks left.

Hi Somerset, best way to really know is to take a small sample. quick dry it and see if it has the effect you want. The trichs on some autos do not turn amber so you can't always use that to tell. If you are looking for an energetic up type effect you may be close. Happy growing.

To be fully ripe they would need 3+ weeks and look good enough to make it, but they could also be chopped in 10 days without problem.
Maybe better sooner than later if you want a clearer high.

With it being the time of the year. I fear the sun will not give you the energy to make them much fatter but you could still be building resin production if you have not had any frost.

Wow dude thats impressive! And only 1/3 harvested i think you will be swimming in bud! :stylez rasta smoke:

Hi Somerset,

if my outdoors grls are anything to go by, they will be ready. I found they were reluctant to turn their armpits brown and yet they were actually done.
At this time of year it is a trade off between giving them the last ounce of progress and cutting your losses and harvesting before mould n rot set in. Looking at the weather, if it were me, I would harvest. Some of my finest looking healthy buds were actually rotting under the surface! Not a huge amount but then again I harvested over 10 days ago.
All I can say is, don't loose the lot due to trying to squeeze the last drops out of them.
A bird in the hand etc.....just my 10cents worth. eP.

Good luck n well done.!!!
