Outdoor Outdoor UK, first time - journal & ref

Purely recreational use in the day. I like the way THC lifts me up and keeps me up, but have realised I need a bit more CBD in my current diet to keep it balanced, or I get a bit too rushy and enthusiastic!

I understand the whole trich thing quite well and have a budscope to keep an eye on things, but if you have to pull early -regardless of trichs, is there a point at which there is no point at all in bothering because its just too early?

If you have even small buds showing trichs then I would not toss them. Banana has a good point though nothing like quick drying a sample and trying it to see what you got

Somerset, I hear you loud and clear. I am in the same boat as you. At the mo, the weather is sound and will stay that way for the next week.
Run them as long as possible. Do you have a greenhouse that you can put them in overnight for when the frosts come?
If not, all you/we can do is keep an eye on the forecasts and grow them as long as we possibly can. It is not ideal, but it is all we can do.

ps, some nice plants you got there. Just like me, some are more advanced than others. C'est La Vie eP.

eP - my girls are not in pots, they are firmly rooted into the soil and have been since late June, so there is no greenhouse option for them! Will cover them with some plastic sheeting in really bad (very wet or really cold) weather and leave them in for as long as I dare.
Glad to know I'm not the only one in the boat!

Wishing you the best of luck with the english weather! I dont want to jynx it, but i reckon you'll have another few weeks of mild weather. Last winter there was hardly any frost at all where i am! Just had a tshirt on outside on christmas day!

Nice Pics! super auto's increase strength fairly slowly, can't see on the photos, with buds that size you can expect they will get you abit stoned already, but the real crystals will start to appear in the next 2-3 weeks, you can tell by the stickyness and the smell, it gets more crystals on the leaves and alot on the buds. abit on the hyper side as most super auto's are not cbd plants, the only way to make them abit sleepy is to keep them longer in the sun... not sure about this, but UV light helps to turn the THC to CBD. so, if you are trying to have a maroc hash kindof cain from a super auto, as they are all haze, the only way is perhaps to put your buds in sunsine in a window for as long as possible and turn them around abit... people will say it will make them less strong, but i think the UV light will help change the thc to CBD. i dont think there's any risk it would be not strong afterwards. check with a magnifier if the UV's make the triches go more amber , and tell us... then if you are abit crazy, and it's for personal use, you can bathe the buds in quality distilled water for 2 days, it dissolves everything out of the buds except the cellulose and the thc, and then cure it again. it weighs lighter and it's alledgedly the most airy and light smoke you can have from sensi.

super auto's are mostly haze related or sativa, they arent couchlock they are more hyper. to have a sleepy evening one, either have to have worked alot in the day, or you need to get something like purple maroc which is like hash kind of high, or any heavy cbd plants, and then crumble the weed in mixed into the joint to get the high you want.

A quick photo from the herb garden.

I'm astounded how nice the weather is still and it can only help ripen my girls up. I have found 2 small spots of mould that have been removed so the clock is definitely ticking!

Looking good:)

If mold is already a problem, search for products to prevent its spreading.
Fingers crossed!

Here are a few more pics, not too long now for the ripest one (a couple more weeks for the others.)
its nice to see them from a distance and enjoy how well they blend into the rest of the garden - even now at peak flowering time. I have included a few close ups so you guys can see whats going on at the tips. The colas are on the small side because I tip pruned them about 6 weeks ago and did some mental training (to help then sit neatly and unobtrusively in the boarder) but on the whole I'm really happy with what they're doing - loads of bud sites right down each stem. No spraying whatsoever, or watering - just pure nature, so its nearly as organic too. I have had 4 small spots of mould which were removed instantly and they're still clean (and am watching for more!)

It already gets me pretty high but am persevering for maximum growth and strength on the ripest lady. Starting to see some yellowing on the lower leaves too.

These are at day 113, whaddya think?
