Don Skelly (love the name, girlfriend, I think it'll stick- :crying:... we were talking about this at the Bug thread he started,... here in CA, they're usually found inland, never in my life until about 4 years ago did I see them on the coast,.. since no foreign species are approved for pest control, the sell the native species' egg cases for folks to use in their back yards, etc.,... I think enough have been released now that they have naturalized here! ...here's the beauty that came this year -->

I saw the avatar first.

As for Don Skelly, I confess, I've been binge watching Breaking Bad recently.
Never saw it before, but it's awesome! Now up to Season 5, Episode 10.
I think I was posting just around the time of watching Fring, Jesse and Mike at Don Eladio's Villa Tranquilla.

They're very common at home. Loved them as a kid, let the babies climb all over me.
I was taught early on that they are "good bugs", cos they eat the bad bugs.
Not to mention they are the most fascinating hunter killers of the bug world.
Green Poison . Gold Mantis.

I didn't get my Scorpions to maturity this summer.
Had about 30-40 and increasing ever more on the plant.
BUt had to be out of town for over a month just when they needed it.
A couple were just turning yellow / orange.
They were already damn hot then.
Wish they could have made it all the way through.

Have already talked with Duplex and Ronin about chili, haha!
