So I hear! Lookin forward to burnin some!
Moved onto giving a light watering rather than just misting this morning. Just did a ring around the plants, about 250ml each pot. Gave it a bit of distance between to get the seedlings reaching for it. Maybe a little early to start with so much? Seem fine this evening anyway.
Progress is slow but to be expected. Hopefully those roots are reaching out and spreading!
Temps are becoming temperamental, finding it hard to manage as outdoors temps here are swinging quite a bit. Lows of 15/16c to highs of 21/22c
I thought I needed to open up an air vent to get some air flow, but the mesh on these vents isnt so fine. So took a 2 little bottle and cut both ends off. Then pulled some leggings (two layers) over the bottle and tied them off. I then slid this into one of the adjustable holes at the bottom of the tent. So now air passes through it hopefully without the possibility of bringing in any bugs. Think this is what’s causing the temp drop though, too much fresh air!! Could always turn the inline fan down to minimum (it’s only on two bars out of 6 at the mo).
I have also placed the seedling heating mat directly under the smart pots so they are in contact. Thought it would help stimulate root growth. Hopefully this isn’t a mistake?
Thoughts appreciated [emoji106]
Progress is slooow! 9 days and their just 6cm tall. Think I may just be being a little impatient.
Have them another 250ml drink each this morning.
Put cobs on to raise temps which has worked. With lowest extractor fan setting ambient temps are ranging from lows of 15c to 25c.
I put the weather station probe in with the plants and the heat soared in there.... 38c apparently, but as plants are so small cfl is right up in there at 6cm above plant tops.
I also noticed one of the big leafs on the haze has started twisting a bit... may not be a concern but could be the on set of disaster!?!?
