Filled in a couple days pretty fast, Mrs DV8 wanted a trip to Bunnings and honestly who can resist! I knew this would be great place to formulate some ideas and look at some options. Walked out about $500 lighter than when i walked in, the upcoming Spring enthusiasm was flowing.

Spent Sunday erecting a greenhouse, boy did that take some work. I wouldnt have bothered maybe, but they had a marked down one 3x3x2.4m and it was complete, opaque sides, took a few hours to get up. I was really looking for a coldframe for vege seedlings but seemed a decent buy. Probably for the best, ill set my propagation tables and worm farm up in there too. After i got it up my mind started to wander and well it might give me a chance to get an early break with the ladies yet too.

Brought a digital weatherstation after all these years bloody thing refuses to connect to sensor, Aussie made and all, might be back today for a swap over. Looks the goods though for recording purposes.

Got a few more bits and pieces, gets me excited this slow march to better weather, can wait to start seeding out some new babies, soil is killer this year.

On a side note, collected up some nettles too, will do more over the next few weeks, anyone ever tried these in a tea? I know tomatoes dont like it due to iron content, and i use it as compost activator, seems like it would be great for vegging. Maybe if no answer ill experiment, any way, great free resource. Cheers

Hey @DV8 just saying Hi from somewhere on the Pacific coast!
I love doing Autos, and seeing Pineapple Express on your menu reminds me of how lovely a smoke she is... proper Sexbud.... get's yer Missus hot!
I'm an indoor grower though, but on acreage... it would be lovely to have some Autos on during this lovely dry sunny weather, but I'm shit scared of the Brown snakes.
Good luck, there's an Aussie growers thread somewhere on here... I'm sure @hecno, @the green bandit or @smokeyfromau will point you there.

@Teetee Cheers mate for the heads up, ive seen a couple of dedicated aussie threads, everyone has been super hekpful pointing me in the right directions. Slowly remembering the who is who here.

Not a fan of snakes myself, but Im an outdoors enthusiast so plenty of kit and supplies should an encounter happen, all a natural part of it, havent had too many close calls.

Checked out your journal, exercising old brain muscles, when you confirmed the Blue as a photo I was barracking it on as I was reading through it haha.

Heres the greenhouse, naturally i went for opaque over clear, not sure the pics do it justice on actual size, just another step in the process, I originally was gonna go 1.8x 1.8 thinking it would be big enough, hard to squeeze much more in these tiny backyards. The lawn underneath it was earmarked for Mrs DV8s Gazeebo, hopefully the veges make up for her loss
