Indoor OK, I'm in... Pyramid NYC, World of Seeds NL X BB, Fast Buds GSC

Your girls are looking fantastic man!!!!! Those pics of your WCOG are are fucking sweet, have yet to see that kind of color come out of them, did you lower the temps towards the end to get that color out of them, or did it come on naturally?

Dropped the night temps and cut the N completely the last 3 weeks. She used up all the storage finishing out. Not a flusher so she ran hard right up tot he point that I gave her the axe. IN fact, I like to let the cans dry out pretty hard before I water again but that is just me. She was small, but wicked potent. I miss her more than I do the ex wife..lol

So a quick update today. Went in to check up on the girls this morning and was pretty floored by the growth. They are moving by leaps and bounds. But the one that I think I am most impressed with is my safety bean, the second @FastBuds Girl Scout Cookie that I dropped 5 days behind. She has been heavily trained from onset and has got a ton of growth points that are setting up into preflower. I just hope I don't screw this one up because she has all the earmarks of a very heavy producer if I can get more light running. I will certainly do the same thing to my third seed in the next run because the number of bud points is looking very promising. I would rather have 15 grenades than a foot long Cola with surrounding skirt buds. Of course, with good lighting I would not be adverse to having 15 long fat colas either! So here she is, along with a few other images if you should choose to look.

And as usual...

Seems like a good time for an Update. Girls are going great and I have gotten a few ugly problems hammered down. Its day 43.

I have bee battling the CalMag issue from day one it seems and I am both stubborn and hands on so I simply had to see it for myself. Well I did. The Northern Lights X Big Bud started to really show a pronounced lack of and foliar feeding was not going to cure it so I am on the Botanicare CalMag bandwagon. It stomped the problem oout in short order but I fear I have damaged my production by letting them stall for a couple of days. Live and learn (hopefully).

I broke the top over on the NL x BB as she was starting to really dominate and @BigSm0 Mentioned bringing her down and tightening up the spacing between the overall canopy and the lights. Dang, wish I had thought of that. Where would I be without help. And while I am on the subject @pop22 and @qwezdan1 have both been great about pointing out things that need tightening as I go along. Anything that makes my tent a more hospitable place to live for the girls is O-Tay by me.

NL X BB has about 12 strong colas running now not including the rolled over top.

My Pyrimid New York City. I almost feel like I owe her an apology for the lact of care she gets. She is in the back corner and gets turned sporatically, fed gently, and watered deeply and then allowed to dry gently. Seems to be accepting of the treatment.

And last but certainly not least, My Fast Buds Girl Scout Cookies. They are both in good health but running to their own separate time line. The original bean I had dropped is in a 3 gallon container and will be smaller due to that fact. Good thing as the tent is about to burst at the seams with fire.

my youngest, and probably most favorite of this run. I was very harsh in the early training and she has responded beautifully. I don't even know how many growth points are down in there. A bunch. I expect she will run for a very long time possibly 90 plus. We shall see.

And of course, a family picture.

Moved things around today hoping to get better usage of the new light. If I am going to drive it hard I want to try to hoover up all the light that I can.

Time to get the old cut and paste notepad out. I want to try and target my next seed purchase to something more focused. So far I have, like every gardener regardless of crop, fallen prey to the hype and marketing that is rampant in the green industry. Talking to those that have gone ahead is really the fast track to success. I don't want to have to grow a lot of plants, I want the plants I grow to hit like a ton of bricks. Sitting around for a half hour and smoking to get there just doesn't appeal to me. I must be getting old...
Your grow is looking good bro. The most bang for autos is Mephisto, I've grown a lot of autos in the last year and they by far have the strongest and stinkiest seeds out right now. Fastbuds is pretty good, Dutch is good, Sweet is good and Dina too especially for weight. I was most disappointed in Heavyweight seeds, mid quality stuff. I tried several Nirvanas and short stuffs, decent herb with a good cure. Flash beans I'd stay away from, the most inconsistent autos I've seen yet, some don't auto. World of seeds are pretty good over all, their Amnesia is top quality herb. I've tried 18 different seed breeders thus far, the guys on the mountain are kings of consistent quality dank herb. I'd recommend anything from them, try the Artisinal line, they have 4 and they are all killer top grade meds. Their Arisinals were bred to full auto then crossed back with the original photo then bred back to auto for some killer quality herb. If you could get your hands on some Double Grape....they are just wow! I know a guy...

Peace and good luck with your grow. :vibe:

Well its 51 days in now. Things are for the most part running smoothly. The NLXBB seems to not like the soil or light regimen but it seems to be coming around.

A little Bud Porn.

And the group. Girl Scout Cookies are still in the midst of a slow stretch and preflower.

Awesome looking girls! One more month and get ready for those sticky scissors :d5:

Been busy and lazy. take your pick. Day 65 and they girls all seem to be growing. The NYC by Pyramid looks to be the first to finish. I would not give her more than another 10 days I think. The Northern Lights X Big bud is moving slower than I would have hoped. I think that I have not done this plant justice and look forward to growing the other two together in a heavily trained environment. I think it could easily be a monster yield.

The Girls Scout cookies. The original seed has been allowed to just run its course until of late when I started to bend her around a bit to make use of the space. She looks great just slow. The second one, she is a different story all together. I have tucked and stretched branches and foliage throughout out the grow and it is starting to show signs of reward. I don't have a scale since this is just for me but the output is going to be rather nice. Looking forward to that legendary buzz that comes with it.
