Ah! Yes, I didn't explain well. So! My first grow I had the standard fan/filter combo but smell was overt. So I immediately thought it had to be the cheap filter! Twas' not the case. I built the carbon scrubber bucket and put the exhaust vent into that.
It goes:
Carbon filter -> extractor fan -> 8 ft flexible duct - > carbon scrubber bucket - > atmosphere.
Turns out it was just my tent being a leaky bastard. I taped it up all over and voila! Perfection!
I'll be building a new scrub bucket for the new tent as well. I have to stay completely unnoticed and I just love over engineering things.
