Yeah we mostly had brick and home grown too. That other bud was good. I’m sure today, it wouldn’t have the same effect. When I go back to smoke bud from the past, they are no longer effective.
I have seen times that i buy an oz on Monday and be flushing down the toilet it by Thursday because the effects diminish quickly for me. And a buddy from Cali was furnishing that. He also agreed that dp blue mazar auto was super fire.

Gave seeds a 20 hour soak and most seemed ok.
I prefer a 12 hour soak then directly into the final pot. But do it your way.
Some had tiny tails. Some were almost cracked., some well just have to wait and see. But overall, everything looks good.

Because of my arrogance, my original plan was to only do one seed per strain.
After consulting other breeders, @Boognelson87 included, I decided to take a different course.
In my opinion when it comes to bud, smoking is supreme. So I find myself only concentrating on producing great smoking bud. In actuality, people are using cannabis in profoundly different ways.
Modern usage of cannabis, dictates that a strain not only has to look good, smell good, taste good, smoke good and yield good, also has to be good at producing concentrates.
Solventless concentrates ie quickly becoming the futur. So now a strain must also squish well to check all the boxes.
By well, I mean that a strain must have a 27% return just to be in the race. However you should know that the big boys are pushing 30% and better. This is a must have attribute in any strain, so I decided to get an early start on my original pheno hunting plans. I can’t tell all my plans, just know, the best is yet to come.
As we all know, the cannabis world is bombarded with new strains, and new breeders daily. But it’s the breeders that are going the extra mile to provide the upmost quality, that are making a difference. This is the type of breeding efforts that I incorporate in my projects.

Nympho/ photo day 17 versus day 20.

Loud smelling plants before flowering is typical of a Nympho plant. I can smell her when I open the tent. She started smelling around day 14. What’s really crazy, she is sitting by a plant that has bud, and you can smell her over it.

So let’s recap. 12/12 from drop, accelerated growth rate, smelling loudly before buds are produced… shid, where do they do that at.. Nympho land, that’s where.
...There is that arrogance again. But anyway… she will be a nice addition to the photo cannabis world.

Nympho wings typically drop to the soil. You might say she is well grounded.

After a 12 hour soak, 3 day later and most of the seedling are above ground.

this is 15 hours after the first ones showed their head.

5 hours later. Seedling are doing fine.
germ rates are looking really nice.
The Runtz s1 for sure will need to do better. I did have to wet the pots again so that may cause slow some of the breaching down. 80% of seeds had tails after the 12 soak. But I’ll rather see how many actual had the strength to reach the light.

So far 88 of 95 seeds dropped, are above ground. That gives me a 90%+ germ rate. Hopefully the other 7 will breach the surface over the next few hours. @Trichome farmer

As you see this germ test is very important to me. So far the animal cookies is the only one that didn’t make 80%. However, I did see a couple of tailless beans that may pop later. Giving the time frame and positive percentage for 9 different strains, I’m must say, job well done to myself.
In the near future I’ll be looking for testers for the crosses. I prefer to announce the need for testers here, where people are following my thread. I’ll let everyone know when they become available. Thank you and Fly High!

@blu-tri looking good… you have out done your self again I must say. Nice numbers on your germ testing those are the type of numbers that I like to see . I’m glad that you are a over achiever you don’t tend to see that type of work all the time any more. You have me drooling I’m all in folks.

Thank you for the support. Have you decided what you are going to grow yet? May I suggest something from my personal stash such as the chocolate Thunder gen3. This lady gives new meaning to “potent purple bud.” Coincidentally, she is also one of your favorites. She will be a good one to get your feet wet with.
