Indoor Nute Burn or Nitrogen Problem?!?!

Yes for sure. I used one of those for a while until I forked over the cash for a really nice digital ph meter. No more worries for me there and I am so glad. Not to say you can't do it with the liquid drops. It's just hard or impossible to check runoff when its dirty and your water with nutrients in it. It changes the color. I remember someone on here saying that's all they use and they had plenty of rep points and grows so you never know. Just depends, there are always variables. Good luck dude.

yea id deff try n pick up a digital ph tester its pretty much essential in my opinion if your having ph problems...you can also use food grade citric acid powder as a natural ph down...but its best to just go to your local hydroponic shop or garden center and by a bottle of synthetic ph down

using home remedes for ph up and down is not recommend in my opinion though....using things like viniger ad lemon juice often bring your ppm up alot because you have to use more then when you use synthetic ph up n down...

I'm gonna have to counter that with I find absolutely nothing wrong with home remedies IMHO. I'd rather use those than the chem heavy stuff. Of course, I grow organic soil and ppm isn't an issue for me. Also due to the nature of organic soil grows my ph doesn't need much adjusting. If I had a large grow or hydro to manage I'd get the store bought ph adjusters, but I'd look into the organic ones they provide :2cents:
