Thanks Amit, here's keeping my fingers crossed the training will pay off.Looking great. I am curious to see hope they will respond to all the training.
I grow in a 100cm x 60cm space, I would dearly love to have a big tent but it just isn't possible where I live.
So far this grow has used transplant at sex, LST,Pinning, HST & defoliation
Transplant at sex - to reduce initial stretch phase.
LST to tie down the branches to the horizontal to send the auxins to the bud sites lower down the branches and stimulate apical growth at those tips.
HST - the main stems were lightly crushed and bent level with the rest of the canopy, again to send the auxins to lower bud sites and stop apical dominance of the main tip which would normally grow into the top cola.
Defoliation - As the auxins went to the lower bud sites they responded by putting on lots of growth and shading the lower nodes on each new tip.By defoliating where a leaf was shading the new growth lower down, it allowed the light in and the lower bud sites were able to put on new growth.
Things should start coming together now and I'm letting them put on more leaf growth but I will do a little bit of light defoliation to keep them in check as they flower.
