anyone hear of this or work with his before. its a recessive gene thats found in some plants that dont have any ruderalis in it. it comes up in bx'd og kushes sometimes like with the cali connection sfv og and tahoe ogs because of the afghani male he used and then the selected f'd male carried the recessive gene.

i am asking because i have a male autoflowering tahoe og kush(tcc) and autoflowering female tahoe og kush(my own selection) and i crossed them together to try to bring the recessive trait out as a dominant trait. im trying to make a autoflowering plant that does not use any ruderalis genetic material.

both flowered under 24 hours of artificial light, once i realized that i brought them outdoors(california) where they were getting 16+ hours of light as continued to flower let let them do their thing. theres probably 50-100 seeds maybe on the female that i will be working with. i was wondering if this is even possible to do. ill add pictures later of the female and some seeds i already harvested.

After seeing what they have done with auto nothing would surprise me. Personaly I have not heard of it but that means JACK

I had an old buddy (I miss him, passed away a few years ago) that had some plants he flowered to sex but 1 wouldnt reveg, continued to flower after putting lights back to 24. I thought it was weird, he wrote it off as a mutant/defect. Couldnt tell ya the strain though.

im in on this one!
I want to hear what the experts have to say.
I'm sure that its possible. I mean we are dealing with mother nature here!

There is the Mighty Mite strains that I have heard can make an auto plant like the ruderalis. Actually, maybe it auto's differently in a way or two.

I think there is another one as well.

Isolating the auto trait is not an easy task, but very doable.

:coffee2:

I will be back to see how this goes

Also, I love me some Tahoe OG

I'm no breeding expert but my understanding is that the breeder Stitch created his Super Autos from early flowering photo sensitive plants, so they contain no ruderalis. I've grown some of his supers both indoors and out and they always auto flowered at around 5 weeks, regardless of the amount of light they were receiving.

Double post.

For some reason I thought I had read that ruderalis genetics were involved, but that low ryder genetics in particular were not used. I took that as stitch using a rudy with late flowering traits that he had exclusively and only for the super autos. I could be 110% incorrect though. Also, I think I recall my chaze pack specifically stating ruderalis in the genetics. Much love, Muddy! I'm enjoying a Macanudo Prince Philip Maduro right now. Cheers!

You may well be right. Maybe it was someone else I'm think of and not Stitch. There have been several strains, Iranian Auto Flower being one, that were called autos but were really just early flowering photos.

I'm so jealous. :Sharing One:pass it this way and let me have a toke.

mighty might has been around for years . my mind serves me right it was a genetic freak a breeder picked out of 100 or so plants he grew in British Columbia. It has been crossed with several different strains over the years in fact you can get mighty might in seed form from the Vancouver seed bank. I was wondering the same thing Eekman
