:biggrin: :pass::d5: Great work there Hecno mate, design is really nice, lovely array of plants. My rainforest plans are in weeds lol i am bad, i got a new one for the sump area - sure Canna plants would go off in the septic

Lots to do , keep the grass till these grow up a bit then remove more grass and plant so the little marsh frogs still have some cover. but nice once done, thinking of grass mown paths and reeds and small shrubs maybe a rose garden section down back around the vege path and future canna growing area ( around the shed in the distant), so can install camera cover etc for them

Mate . Trust me --- If that is Golden Canes palms , Pull them :cuss: out . You have to look out for the plants that bog up your septic trenches . Believe me you don't want to dig new ones .
Just for fun .

Thanks Hecno mate ! Yes they are Bangalow natve down here an an Alexander palm. I relied on google when planting them so hope the info is current, but Gold Canes are now an environmental weed, not too sure maybe thats the Cocos Palm. I would hate to dig new ones, to think i had a swamp mahogaty (cant spell lol) right on the septic, i removed it the stump is slowly rotting away. We a cool old system kitchen goes grease trap . rest of the water goes to the septic tank, the waste goes to a tank and drains in the septic, i use the water from the tank around the yard

Yup..... :pass:

A Healthy vigorous Green is a Joy....on any plant.....

(except the bloody reeds..they still drive me nuts.....:watering:..)
Hey Mossy ! Sorry i missed your comment earlier.:pass:

:bong: Exactly cutting back the grass is less work, and grass paths would mean the kangaroos have somewhere to sit and eat, not upset if the like the reeds and native grasses, just have to leave the veges canna alone, and roses if i decide on a rose garden, Wild is nice, the new way for gardening -------- love the green, fear the yellow in plants

@Waira ...that yellow is a Stunner too............:headbang:....scented...?
:face: oops, missed the tag....

Aunty it does have a nice aroma, kinda of a fresh laundy scent? :rofl: -- floral, light perfume, pleasant...

:bravo: Wow, Hec', that's a fine bit of 'scaping you have done there!... I love it! :d5:.....A lot of things in their I like so much: bromeliads, a few kinds of Alocasia/Calocasia, awesome Staghorn ferns, crotons, cordylines! ....A nice cane orchid, Dendrobium or Epidendrum?.... what's the spidery white flower, a lily? .... how about that last flower, that's got a very orchid-like color pattern

What a color show mate, and it's all still young, imagine when they get bigger and self propagating- :growing::hula::growing:
