I think those little egg-like dots are what I was photographing, like peas in a pod. Is that the pollen?
Yah i think so. Yep like a pea pod but without its shell.

I 100% agree. I got both ingredients from ebay for less than $20 US. I've been reversing everything I buy! LOL@Olderfart
I found 25 g of silver and 500 g of sodium thiosulfate anhydrous (smallest containers I could find) for 70 something CAD and another 70 something CAD shipping.
So it cost me about 150 CAD.
0.1 gram of silver nitrate makes me 100 ml of stock solution and 0.5 gram of sodium thiosulfate anhydrous makes 100 ml of stock solution
I refrigerate my stock solutions and mix my STS as needed.
I use 5 ml of each stock and mix with 90 ml distilled water to get 100 ml of STS which is enough to reverse a couple of plants.
stock solution I've heard will last in the fridge for up to a year in a sealed light proof container. once the stocks are mixed with distilled water the STS last for about a month (in fridge for storage and in a light proof container.)
I mix my solution in a brown glass spray bottle and wrapped the bottle in duct tape (and labeled poison)
I'm still on my first stock solutions which will make about 2000 ml of STS.
That is with .1 gram of silver multiply that by 10 it's 20000 ml per gram so 25 grams will give you 500000 ml of STS.
the way I look at it is for 150 CAD I got a life times worth of STS and my last seed run (AK-47 auto) I got 357 seeds.
At approx. 10 per seed that's about 3570 CAD so my STS has already paid for itself.
It is cheaper in the long run if you are buying C/S and probably even cheaper than making C/S when you add up the cost of silver, power supply
and it definitely takes less time to make than C/S.
I will stand behind my words "It is worth purchasing"
Good luck!
The second pic looks a lot like trichomes but I've never looked at the nanners under my scope.Couldn't help myself, looked like too much fun. I've never tried this before -- using my (cheap) Carson pocket microscope, and then putting my iPhone camera right over it. This flower had just opened, but was pretty young (I sacrificed it for "science"). First, I'm not 100% sure that's pollen, and secondly, if it is, I'm not sure it's fully formed?
Based on what y'all are saying, it might be... should they look like water droplets? I tried to kind of 'grind' up the flower a bit to see if any would fall off, but they seemed to just get crushed, after that I couldn't find any. Might be because they are not fully formed?

I know eh! I was skeptical when I first bought it and even once and a while I think damn it's not working then Bam shit ton of balls and pollen.I 100% agree. I got both ingredients from ebay for less than $20 US. I've been reversing everything I buy! LOL

It may seem expensive but the cost of C/S and seeds only to find out it didn't reverse and the plant is now garbage will add up fast.
As I have stated so far I have 100% success with STS.
I have a Cheese auto that I pollinated that will be ready on the 7th of this month. (6 weeks)
I always get impatient and check so earlier today I clipped off a small bud and found 25 seeds 1 was a little green but I think it will still be good.
the rest of the plant I will chop on the 7th.
Judging by the size of the little bud I cut today and what's left on the plant (not a large plant) I should have 200 seeds or more.
if you price out 200 seeds you'll find STS is very cheap.
I actually made some CS from old pre 1965 quarters, and it works fine too. STS, I used once every 3 days, CS I used once a day, so STS was easier, and my next batch of CS might not come out right, compared to the STS mix always being the same.I paid $12 shipped for a 4oz bottle of 240ppm cs. Its not that expensive, if you search for abit... but it does sound like STS can work better.

I will now as I have a plant with flowers on it, hopefully they are not to old now.
to the best of my knowledge the pollen is inside the nanners.
