I've uses STS and CS and it really has everything to do with the genetics. Some reversed plants will just open up and spill pollen like a male. Some just won't. You really have to pull the sacks individually. I found it way easier to just harvest the entire plant and rake off all.the sacks onto a white cookie sheet. Dry them a couple days 35 perct humidity and just rake them over a screen into a cup.
I make my own CS now with timers and its pretty much down to a science.
All your doing is blocking the ethylene to force male flowers. Whatever u use to block it is really not that important as the plant is gonna do what its gonna do. I've reversed the same cuts over and over and the outcome was always the same no matter what method I used.
