No pollen yet - howcum?

@Olderfart
I was reading back on this post and just wondering if you ever got any seeds?
As it happens, I just chopped the smokable bud today, and checked one flower base on one of the two pollenated colas I left on the plant and this is what I found:

I doubt it is the only one. Me pleased? Ya think?

Nice, Congrats!
I have two strains I just reversed a Blueberry pie photoperiod and a Cinderella Jack auto.
Both have pollen sacks just waiting for pollen to start dropping.
Making seeds is as addictive as growing and consuming. :yay:

I confess that hints of that addiction are appearing.

I was some chuffed to see a seed in the first pistil base I checked. I am really pleased that the reversal worked out. This strain is one of the nice ones that could pretty much disappear due to Dinamed's demise, so some seeds in the bank is a fine thing indeed. Made my day.

I'd like to hear your final count!

Same any update?

The SOS northern lights is just about ready to start dropping pollen on my end. Way bigger pollen sacks this time.
Hopefully this time it works. Will make sure to really let the sacks mature and open up.

Gonna dust it on Royal dwarf (skunk auto).

No problem. It will be a while. I am going to let her pretty much croak and dry out before sorting the seeds. That they are already nice and brown is a good sign. I confess, I dug another one out yesterday. Same size, same color.

It's an addiction I tell ya! I can't wait until my Cinderella Jack pollen sacs and Blueberry pie pollen sacs mature!

Will make sure to really let the sacks mature and open up.

On my last run I made some self pollenated seeds along with my F2 seeds.
It was pretty scary as I usually make seed on a different plant and destroy the reversed plant after I pollenate the other plant, but this time I decided to make S1 seeds as well.
The scary part was the fact that I was making seeds on the reversed plant and it was still making pollen.
The more the plant matured the more pollen was being produced to the point where whenever I would open the cabinet I had a spray bottle of water to mist the plant and try to kill the pollen. I would find mounds of pollen on the leaves every day.
I was worried for the plants that I didn't want pollenated but in the end they were safe.
The lesson I learned was to only reverse a couple of branches and let them mature, they will drop a lot of pollen.
It was like a true male plant.
Good luck!

I got myself some CS and gonna try my hand producing some pollen and seeds. Started spraying a northern lights auto. This thread motivated me to try. :smoking:

Was that with STS or CS? I got remarkably little pollen from my reversed girl, and I reversed the entire plant very aggressively - soaked her down daily at lights out for two weeks plus. However, what I got seems to have been good.

I'm using STS, I switched over last summer from C/S and never looked back
I try to spray once every 5 days but sometimes I forget and it is sprayed on day 6 or 7 but to date I am still at 100% success.
Between myself and 2 friends we have made feminized seeds for 8 different strains and I have 2 currently with sacs waiting to mature.
I've been so successful with STS that I don't even have second thoughts if the pollen will be viable anymore ( I'm sure one day I will get nonviable pollen but so far all good).
My biggest downfall right now is, I lost two strains because I was down to the last seed and they failed to germinate (purple berry diesel and Mango). The good news is once I get a small stock of seeds for the strains I have, I can just buy the strains and make more.
I'm not kidding it's an addiction making seeds, I have a queue of strains I will be buying thanks to my local supply shop.
I just bought Cinderella Jack auto that are supposed to get up to 26% THC and now the shop owner just told me that he sold an auto strain to another guy who brought in a sample and it was 30% THC. His analyzer is a higher end machine ran him $3200.
Now I have to but that strain in the future!
Auto flower strains are really starting to be competitive in the cannabis market.
