Dried out to 30 grams, buds are fluffy. Will have to think about eventually going to HID if the next 2 pants turnout that way.
Nothing wrong with fluffy as long as the pot gets you stoned!
HID means heat heat heat...why not try LED? Or try configuring your CFLs in another way?
I know depression. All too well. It means you're too hard on yourself. The rest of the world truly doesn't give a damn if you live up to your expectations or ideals, and so neither should you. Pot helps me to be easier on myself---and the world, too. It helps me give less of a damn about bad news or bad luck or those thoughts that could run me down if I indulged in them (but I refuse to).
I usually harvest in a style of bud-by-bud. When its hairs are mostly red and there's plenty of frosting and stink, then I snip it with sharp scissors.
I hope you learned with this grow that it's okay if some leaves turn yellow or develop brown tips---they do that even with no nutrient feeding whatsoever. No need for emergency feeding or flushing.
Over-watering is worse than under-watering.
Over-feeding is worse than under-feeding (or no feeding at all).
I know "experts" like Ed Rosenthal say it's okay to give plants light 24/7, but it is greed-based advice and treats the plants like soul-less machines.
Plants are living beings---and all living beings are conscious beings. Consciousness benefits from & appreciates sleep. Does any human find it easier to sleep with the lights on rather than off? So I give plants at least 4 hours of sleep per day---sometimes longer (with photo sativas I give about 14 or 15 from flowering until harvest).
Someone said that plants still sleep even during 24/7 lighting, but as I said, who the hell wants to sleep with a bright-ass light glaring at you?
Living beings such as plants & insects & everything else are conscious entities even though egotistical mankind pretends they aren't. All conscious entities enjoy sleeping---and most enjoy doing so in the dark.
I enjoyed reading your grow journal. Thanks for seeing it through until the end. And I like very much your stealth grow-space. Good shit, Maynard!
