week 5 12/12

both plants on 2.4 ec ph 6.0 and drinking a good 3ltrs a day each :thumbs:

the sour kush looks like she is racing to the finish line but her buds are so small, I must confess this was a free seed I acquired through a seedbank promotion so im in no postion to grumble lol please tell me that not all og kush strains yield like this. the purple leaves are a nice touch

the night queen looks the best plant in the grow room a nice compact bush, ive given the new light to her to finish off with, both plants are due to start pk boost next res change

the plants take on a whole new look under the new spectrum, they look way more natural and will be so much easier to spot any signs of plant deficiencies

Yes its the same with the plasma the plants look lovely and fresh and vibrantly natural... and easier to spot deficiencies...(not that your ladies get them anymore...)

Well, coming back from Spannabis, I can report a nice chat I had with Gavita - actually one of the shortest over the weekend. I was going to try and get into a nice discussion on the benefits of plasma... but they openly, firmly and unquestionably stated that LEDs simply dont work, hands down, no discussion, I didnt even mention the LEDs!

Not that plasma is better, just that LEDs dont work, period :roflcry:

I was almost almost almost going to argue and debate, but I just left. Why bother arguing with the opposing team? They obviously know better, plus there was a superb italian company doing hemp beer that I simply could not resist. Far better investment of my time.

I shall mention no names, but was no trade-fair steward. I'd love to get my hands on a plasma though, to try for myself.

Whoooa.... that is shocking.... they probably think the earth is still flat.... and that T Rex's are still the King of the beasts...

They (Gavita) obviously have not seen the excellent work that this threads initiator and Mr Tang and Princess Blue* et al. are getting using LED's... The plasma lights are good... shame they haven't worked on the price a bit to make them more accessible... I'm sold on both LED and plasma...

Hemp beer is yummy... lovely... Hope you sank one for me.... What is the name of the beer please?...

things aint looking to shabby in the grow room at the minute, the sour kush can be taken at 7 weeks but the yield doesn't look epic so im gonna flush her and take her at week 8, as im sure most connoisseur smokers will agree its not about the amount its about the quality so I just hope she delivers lol

the night queen looks set with her bud sites filling up nicely and I reckon what the sour kush lacks in weight the night queen will compensate for (balance and harmony in the grow room), ill get some pics at lights on and post an update.......

week 6 12/12

both plants have been given pk boost this week and the night queen just laps up whatever you put in her res, nothing is a problem for this plant real pleasure to grow with still just over 2 weeks left until harvest

the sour kush is very quick to finish and will be put straight onto a flush regime at the start of week 7, doesn't look like a massive yield but its something I can cross off the grow list :smoke:
