Dutch Passion Night Queen Dwc

Night Queen... surely one to revisit. Definitely solid advice from Tony, I also suffer from long periods of insomnia from time to time, and this is one great weed to have around. High CDB content makes for a smoother high... not smooth as opposite to strong, but smooth in that it soothes my mind and prepares me for sleep. Couple that with a fresh wake-up, and this is a top candidate for those who like to blaze by night but need to up early and fresh for work. Heck of a lot less super-baggy-eyed "syndrome"... And yes, it is strong weed too!

pretty much bang on their groff, i was looking for a quality night time smoke and it was a choice between night queen and dark delight, both sounded like what i was looking for but i had to throw something else in the grow room for a daytime smoke hence the sour kush which smells like nothing ive grown to date and im also looking for something with a nice connoisseur taste

nice description on the strain mate and smoke report  :Sharing One:

day 47/20

just coming to the end of week 3 12/12, both plants are on 2.4 ec ph 5.8, full feed of micro-bloom-grow

im still in the process of waiting for a new light to be sent from hydrogrow and ill hopefully have some more info on that in the coming weeks

the sour kush smells really zesty fresh but the night queen looks soooo pretty

pretty in pink, looks great Seymour

day 54/27

just coming to the end of the 3rd week 12/12 , both plants are on 2.4 ec ph 5.9 , the night queen seems to handle what ever I throw in her res but the sour kush is showing slight signs of hitting her peak

both ladies are still on micro-grow-bloom, with grow being dropped to half amount, I should remove the grow on the next res change and get them both on full flower

nothing to much in the aroma department either as both strains seem pretty lowkey at this stage of the grow, the sour kush has developed a sour cringe aroma while the night queen just smells standard although I do like to witness my plants getting stronger as the weeks progess so ill keep it update
no signs of my new grow light yet but as soon as it arrives Ill do a full unveiling and grow report :Sharing One:

pics. just over 5 weeks left..........

Wow those indicas flower sooooo much faster than the sativas!!! In the photo world it is almost painful the difference!! Can't wait to see the 4th gen Lights!! I also found it seems that the photos put down more root than their auto cousins, at least they fill the bucket faster... Can't wait to see the boughs bending with buds SB!!! Looking great REP

apologises for lack of updates ive just been caught up doing other stuff but all is well and i hope the same is for you good folk :Sharing One:

received a new light from hydrogrowled which is based around the x2 with a new colour spectrum which im told is more tailored for growing plants, ive been using hydrogrow lights for a few years now so I should be able to tell any noticeable difference in the way the plants grow and obviously document any changes wether good or bad, I don't think this light will be the final version or even how close it will be to the final product

the noticeable difference between this light and my older lights is its a 336 x2 (currently using 189 x) with more green in the spectrum, I must admit I was under the impression that green light had no major effect on plant growth other than the plants reflect the light back so it will be interesting to see what happens

the other thing I noticed with this light is the dimmer control switch which I though was a neat idea, it can be run on .5 watts which would be great for seedlings then can be turned up to 1 watt for vegative growth and then to the full 3 watts for flower

heres a few pics of the light

I often wondered why kush was never really available in mass quantity in the uk like skunk/cheese and haze is but after growing her you can see she isn't a massive yielder but I know the taste and effects are pretty good

ill get some photos at lights on and post an update  :smoke:

Hi seymour-buds glad all is well with you... I was wondering where you'd disappeared to...

It's funny you should bring this up..... whilst skiving this afternoon I read an article in Garden Culture magazine about LED and plasma lighting and the relative benefits and disadvantages of both (I get the impression the article was written by someone from Gavita).... and the general gist about green light is that under low light intensities the plants show little photosynthetic response to green light however at higher light intensities the plants are able to and do utilise green light for photosynthesis... So that's probably why they've put the green diodes in..... I imagine your plants will look even more lush and lovely now....

Anyway good luck with the new lights...

Mr ganjamoto.

Mr ganjamoto.

the plants take on a whole new look under the new spectrum, they look way more natural and will be so much easier to spot any signs of plant deficiencies although both my current plants are starting to take on shades of purple, the colour output has changed quite dramatically also its more of a light pink glow and no real overall increase in temps either even though the light is running around 500 watts

nice to see you about mr moto and if you need any help smoking that auto ultimate (beast) gimme a shout :Sharing One:
