I would even postulate that a huge portion of the market right now could be
classified as "Mid-Life Crisis" customer or a middle-aged to senior (including
boomers and "60's era") that are just as concerned about medicinal value
(non-psychoactive CBD elements) as how strong it is...maybe more so.
So maybe the market, to an extent, prefers the Lincoln Continental convertible
over the 2015 Viper.
I think the THC% battles on the photo battleground have actually come back
to bite them...like an arms race that got out of hand. Very few people, IMHO
really want to just constantly burn 28% THC grass. I don't know maybe it's just
my middle-aged ass being a sally.

I think for said customer base, and small time home growers in general, auto's are generally a better choice,... the lack of potency/diversity argument is now face-first on the canvas,.. barring very specific personal wants, or strain desires,... We know so very much depends on the growers themselves too, to bring out the best in the genetics they work with,.. one long establish, reputable delivery service (no walk-in dispensaries allowed in my county yet, due to conservative politicians and a douche that opened one w/o proper paperwork and fought them for a year...burning that bridge for the moment...fucker,...!), grows in-house, organically, and so I see many of the same strains all year long,... even with the consistency and skills of their growers, there can be much as 6% variance in the THC% crop to crop... most often , their best are in the low 20%'s, but on occasion, it can drop to around 17%...visually, you cannot tell! Even so, to your point, what's a hit or two difference when it's this potent? Especially when it's so flavorful, and you want to relish several puffs! ...they have a Purple Nepal and Cadillac, that are so yummy, I want to pack my snoot with raw bud for all day pleasure- :roflcry:.... What really floors me is how the concentrate's branch had grown,...jeez, smoking 70-80% THC stuffs?!?! two good puff's is like a joint's worth of meds- :no: :Woozy..?:...I can't imagine having that much tolerance!

Hey, Wairia. I think me and you are in the same county..and or neighbouring counties. Somewhere twards the middles of cali lol.
I know there are no walk in in the county north of me..which services most of my area of my county. Its pretty much delivery only here to..Though, when I went to renew my doctors rec. He gave me an updated list of cooperatives. Seems there is now one in twards the southern end of my county. Which is interesting..as the last ones on the south end got shut a while ago.
As for Photo's and autos..I notice sometimes the photo's are more potent on the THC..by just a little bit. Though, I find myself enjoying the Autos more..even the ones that are slightly less THC potent. I think I enjoy the little extra CBD in there...I dont really like the 27%+ THC photos....It puts me in a more anxiety prone situation somtimes..I dont like that...The autos Ive been growing are much more anxiety free/warming/euphoric.Im in my middle 20's too. IMHO...This Pruple Fruit basket I grew is pretty damn THC potent..On the level of photo's. So, Im finding myself much more passionate towards autos. For me, it has more pro's then cons on the bigger picture for my grow setup.
Anyone can look around and see the autoflower industry/community is doing nothing but growing.

Like other's have said, it could just be a ploy to sell more mags, but maybe he'll come to AFN and leave with a changed attitude. Nothing like educating the masses.
I agree with this, but I would chalk up the reason to laziness. People forget that decisions made years ago are often rendered invalid by new information as the years go by. Fortunately, even at my advanced age, I haven't picked up that much baggage on autoflowers. Sometimes being a noob can be an advantage!

You know I think one of you folks should approach high times and see if they would pay for an article about autos. Seems to me the record needs to be corrected. You could also suggest that if they really want to improve their circulation, they should add an autoflower section.
True story guys , where I am nobody even knows what a Auto is , it's all just bush weed what is around now , about 20 years ago we had good old time growers up my way with very good dope ,but the sad thing most have gone now and the younger growers have no idea what they are doing , it seems be be a mentality of grow it - dry it- sell it - no pride what so every in what they are producing , and they get ripped off because when the buy a once it can be up to 8 gram short and full of seeds . I know because my 2 boys smoke and I have a top set of scales to weight the stuff on . Now that was one one the main reasons I started to grow , that and I need some good smoke . Now this is where the Autos come in , I may not be getting top yields -- yet -- but the potance is way above what is around here and that is not just me saying it , It comes from smokers 40 years old plus , so I say the poor bloke has not a idea what he is talking about , but in saying that I found on the other sites there is always some that are full of shit . [ AFN ] is the only site I am on - reason - REAL PEOPLE .
