ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Place the power unit on a stable surface, the fans should be facing up.
2. Line up the push and lock pins of each Sabre with the holes on the Power unit.
3. Push them in until they click into place. To release the pins, press the red tabs on the underside of the Saber bar.
4. Attach the 4 pin power cables from the Saber bar to the Power unit by lining up the notches on the right of the connector.
5. Repeat the process for the remaining 7 bars.
6. Attach the Carabiners to the top of the Power unit.
7. **ATTENTION* Hanging the light in your grow space may require 2 people. One person to hold, the other to secure the carabiners/ratchet hanging set.

Thanks for letting me test the new tech, i have been itching to post about this new piece of kit!!
It is an absolute pleasure to be using the Skysaber for this test grow.
Im gonna keep this one simple and let the plants and LED do the talking!

Here are the parameters for this grow:

• Skysaber 640W LED light
• 5 foot X 5 Foot tent
• Prima Klima 6inch fan and Carbon filter
• Puremate Humidifier 3L (VEG) /

On first impression assembling the light is VERY easy! There is a very useful instructional video that has been made which helped me put this together:



It arrived well packaged and promptly as all LED Hydroponics LTD stuff tends to, and I am surprised at the fact it is a 4 ft X 4ft light but condenses into a relatively small box. After assembling and planning the setup of the tent, I cracked on and got to planting.

For this run I will be growing:

Group Shot:

Here are my girls on day 15 all happy saying hello! I have just stopped spraying and started watering between 400-600ml.

After germination in paper towels then seeds were put into the pots after the soil had acclimatised and gone warm for about a day or so. Since then, the temp has been

a steady 23.5 / 25 degrees C with a RH of 60/65%

In the next couple of days they will be receiving Cal mag at 1ml per L to keep their growth lush and prevent any deficiencies from using the LED.

I normally give plain water for the early stages until around day 18

Apologies for the mediocre snaps, I will take better photos as time goes on, I’m in a new space right now so i'm still getting a feel for the best angles.

You may have noticed… I discovered that the Skysaber is also PERFECT for germinating your seeds on when wrapped up in paper towels!

In the 2nd and 3rd pictures above, at this moment in time the loops connecting the Skysaber are long, so i will shorten these in future to maximise the height i can get in the tent, paired with the slim profile of the light itself, WERE ROCKING!

As you can see the ladies are pretty much of similar size, apart from the Barneys Purple punch which is short and squat in comparison. Which I hope is actually a Purple Punch this time!! Come on guys i just want the right seed!

Saying that, my friend has just grown 2 beautiful purple punch and mid veg the stretch went insane, so never say never! On the bottom right.. is my foot. Hi.



The Dutch Passion beans, all sprouted taproots after a 12 hour soak, pretty much within 6 hours of each other. Fine, fine genetics! Poetry in motion!

Mixing the soil for these 30L was no joke, it was a pretty tiring ordeal and because I have never worked with airpots… I made a bit of a mess lol. DAMN THOSE HOLES!

The orange bud in the 30L is kicking ass!!! I have just ordered some DP Critical Orange Punch for a future run too.


I have also decided to do some 10L fabric pots. Although it was important to showcase the capabilities of the light, I also fancied some variety. Mephisto Genetics tend to have some really nice strains that I had as seeds, but are very small in stature. So I decided to give these a go and see what they would do! You may be able to zoom in and see the tags on the pots but just incase… from left to right, top to bottom…

Mate, that is one sexy assed light you got there. I was worried when I first saw that 'bag' on the top, then you said it was just the towel LOL.
Loads of strains in there..... gonna be wall to wall bud! You got your work cut out there Cuz!

You said you were new to airpots, so hope you don't mind me giving my take on them,,,,, I love using them!

When I fill my airpots, I have the pot on a tray, on a sheet.... I put in about a quarter of the medium, and pack it into the sides, to fill those knobbly bits.. and continue top up a quarter at a time, making sure those knobbles are filled. I tend not to lose too much out the bottom once I get going, the packing helps with that, and just pour the excess on top when you're done.

The pots have 3 or 4 rows of no holes on the sides, on one edge.... thats the top edge. I usually fill to about an inch from the top, as the medium will settle during the grow and the plant will sink in.... a problem in mid veg when the side branches and leaves get bigger, cos they'll hit the sides.

Going back to the holes in the sides... there's no holes in the top edge to make watering a bit easier and stop it coming out the sides every time you feed.
People go on about airpots leaking water out the sides.... that will only happen if you let them dry out too much. Also, by packing the medium into the knobbles, you prevent voids that the water pisses out through.

Initial careful watering, but after a few weeks I'm able to throw a litre in at a time, and it just soaks in.
I also find a fan at ground level gets the oxygen flowing round the rootzone, and helps with the air-pruning.

NG, with that light, those strains, and those green fingers of yours... this is gonna be a cracker!

Hells yea, she is one sexy piece of kit. I think she is the nicest out of the whole Sky series. I am going to post a little more on the light as we go. It's got a couple of

built in fans to keep it cool on the underside... Everything has been covered with this! I probably should have said that the seeds were in paper towels... that are in sealed tupperware... then wrapped in a towel to retain heat off the light... I haven't just thrown em into a bath towel im such a stoner.

Tell me about it dude... the amount of strains is going to be tricky when it comes to feeding these especially as they start to show their feed preferences later on in the grow.

Regarding the pots, i do want to use them to their full potential and was conscious of them sinking when heavier watering begins! Before i do this, i'm going to top up the pots in the next couple of days and fill them to the top. This way, with you pointing out the nobbly bobblys have no holes, they should hold the water well, thus stopping the side pissing pots.

I have taken your advice and put a floor fan outside the tent with the zip open, oscillating into the base of the pots... I think this is gonna make em rip with growth too so thanks bro.

Keep enlightening me dude and we will see how the garden flourishes.

Curiously, how in the world is the blue amnesia looking? Bought anymore tents/Lights?
